Jaw-Dropping Views! - The smoothest gondola I have ever rode but you are not at all focused on that, you are focused on pressing your eyes up against the windows. Visited in mid May weather was in the 40*s Fahrenheit and there was quite a bit of snow at the top so dress accordingly and wear waterproof shoes/boots. The hike to Lake Oeschinen was "closed" at this time as well and the lake itself was frozen over. The entire visit was a bucket list checker, the zipline was so much fun and the Cliff Walk definitely tested your nerves even though it felt very sturdy. I would buy tickets ahead of time at jungfrau.ch as well as get there early as lines do fill up quickly and you do not want to spend all day waiting when there is so much to do. #grindelwald #switzerland #zipline #tissotcliffwalk @grindelwaldfirst

Wonderful views. - A great experience. First, go up by cable car and discover as you climb, beautiful landscapes and towns as if you were in a story. Get to the top, majestic. It was spectacular.

Grindelwald First Worth Taking in - This is another of those "must do" activities when you are in the area. There are lots of options to add to this activity if you wish. Book in advance for those extra activities. You should consider 3 day pass option as well as discount cards.

Fun excursion on the mountain - Weronika provided an exceptional experience for us on the Cheese and Chocolate tour! She knows the area very well and told us much about the Swiss Mountains above Grindelwald! Also, we tasted the different cheeses that are made in the region and the chocolate too was so delicious!

Magnificent views - It took a while to persuade my wife, who is scared of heights, to take this stunning trip. Certainly not cheap to climb up to 7100ft but on seeing the magnificent scenery it was worth every penny. The cable car takes about 25 minutes each way but is breathtaking.

Worth it! - The ride to the top offers incredible views. Everything is well marked and organized. I would allow for at least 3 hours depending on whether you hike down all the way or part of the way. It offers several thrill adventures, flyers, hang gliders, bikes, etc. we took the gondola to the top and walked down to one stop through beautiful farmland. We had an extra bonus where we were able to watch the birth of a cow. Spectacular!

Very interesting experience - For anybody arriving to take the cable car (or indeed anything else) at Grindelwald-First, it is probably best to park at Grindelwald Terminal (15 CHF but everything almost is expensive in Switzerland) and then take the bus to the cable car. The reason I say this is that it can be quite choatic on the streets leading up there. Nevertheless, the bus was full going up there so be prepared for that. The ride takes 15 minutes. The cable car itself takes 25 minutes and if you are on your own, then there is no problem getting one by yourself as there are plenty of them. The scenery is spectacular and you go from green meadows to a snowy Winter wonderland in the middle of September. There is a cliff walk outside when you arrive and you can do additional walking on the show. Altogether a really lovely experience. I did not pay anything except for a few beers which were actually pric is actually ok considering the speed and comfort of the trip. Plus we are in Switzerland!!

Hiking with family - We took the gondola to First and then hiked to Bachalpsee. The hike was great even though it was cloudy most of the hike. Take layers as weather can be chilly but then you get hot during the hike. Take plenty of water as we did not take enough and were parched by the end of the hike. Take snacks as well and note that they do not have any restrooms along the route. We want to return and explore more of the hikes available.

Bad experience - My advice don't buy the activities in advance. If happen it's not operate/close due to bad weather they will not refund to you. This is their tactics as they purposely left the trottibike on the screen although all activities is close on that time due to snow and they say u can opts for that in fact all activities was closed.

Awful company, do not recommend - Awful company! A group of 5 of us went and spent close to £500 and unfortunately due to the weather were unable to do the adventure package. We were told to not go up as it would active the passes and if activated would not get a full refund. Therefore we did not go up the ski lift and they are refusing to refund us. Please be warned about this company, even with the insurance on the tickets we have lost all our money. Very disappointed.
