Fantastic experience on Golden Circle Tour 10/10 stars - My family group, consisting of 7, booked a private Golden Circle Day Tour with Prime Tours. Our guide was Ingi and he was fantastic. Every person on the trip had a great time and made memories that will last a lifetime. My Uncle was particularly interested in the geology of Iceland and Ingi was able to answer all his questions as well as variety of other questions from the rest of the group. We travelled in a luxury Mercedes van that had plenty of room for everyone. My favorite stop was Gullfoss Waterfall, but every moment was wonderful. I hope to get back to Iceland soon and would love to see more sights with Prime Tours.

Seeing and Understanding Iceland's Countryside - Gullfoss Waterfall was fantastic. Seeing and understanding all the geothermal energy generation was very interesting. The geyser area was fun, and the Efstidalur Farm Restaurant for lunch was very good with the cows and horses on site and had very delicious on site made ice cream. The original parliament site by the lake was a very illuminating hike, take it with a company, like Prime, booked through Viator, that drops you off at the top and picks you up at the bottom. Walking through the mid Atlantic plate separation area on this hike was very, very, interesting. Our guide (and driver), from Prime Travel, was very good, this was a private tour. About $900 plus or minus for 8 hours, two people. Pick up at the hotel was prompt and the tour ended on time. Bring appropriate wet weather gear for both several sites like the Gullfoss waterfall, or Icelandic weather in general. Recommend waterproof boots, a rain slick and waterproof pants; do not go in jeans that can get wet. We changed in and out of the wet weather gear whenever needed. Its always windy, almost everywhere.

Great tour company for wheelchair users! - While I booked a wheelchair-friendly tour from Iceland Unlimited, they ended up being a middle-man for another company, which in this case, was Prime Tours. But, I'm so glad it happened! This tour company and tour guide were absolutely amazing! From a wheelchair user's standpoint, it was great. The van was neither too large nor too small. Our guide helped out with everything from pushing up a ramp to transfers to a seat in the van. And whatever else I may've needed as a wheelchair user, our guide would gladly have tried to help us out with! From a tour perspective, our guide was GREAT! He knew history, geology, social issues and so much more. He never got tired of my questions, and he enjoyed sharing all about his country with us. One of my favorite memories is going through a gift shop and while my wife was finding some things, he was telling me more about the elves, trolls, and runes I've been seeing on things. Also, the bus itself was smaller than larger tour busses so we got to travel to some places that a larger tour could not. And, of course, Iceland itself is just plain beautiful! So, thank you, Prime Tours for your great job! I don't think I can recommend you enough to other perspective users! If we ever get back there, I hope to connect with you all again.
