Great day of fly fishing, especially for my 10-year-old - My wife, son, and I had an excellent time with Dylan and Luke. They gave us an outstanding introduction to fly fishing. We learned a lot. They were very knowledgeable, patient, and supportive. And best of all, they ignited a real interest in fly fishing in my son. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Echo again.

Great time, my 11 year old loved it! - Bryant was a great guide and teacher, we explored places we would have never otherwise gone. Will try this again in the future.

Merced River Beauty - Briandt took my family out for fly fishing and was so patient and knowledgeable that we had a great time. My husband is not too mobile but he was still able to cast from the bank while my son and I waded. We enjoyed the beauty and the lesson on fly fishing in a gorgeous classroom at Yosemite.

Dissapointing - My family of five went in the morning on a fly fishing excursion from Rush Creek. The tour had two guides, Bryant and Scott. Bryant was the regular guide and Scott was learning. This tour was problematic. The guides, especially Scott were great with my boys but with myself and my daughter, they were really terrible. Actually, I should say Bryant was terrible, I didn't interact with Scott enough to make an assessment. Initially, Bryant set up rods for my daughter and me and left us to fish. He didn't give us a real lesson in how to cast. Despite that, my daughter and I were able to not snag and get a few casts in before the rig he set up for my daughter just fell off. He didn't come to check on us for over an hour. We called his name intermittently and my other son came to see if he could help but there weren't any supplies to tie a new rig so we just had to wait for him to return. I assumed during that time he was with my other son and husband but they tell me that he was there for a short time but not nearly the entire time he was gone. This is pretty upsetting. We paid $175 per person for a handful of hours. I don't think it was too much to expect someone to check-in regularly. Later, he took my rod to cast to a fish. He hooked it and reeled it most of the way in before handing it to me. He then tried to convince me that I had "caught" that fish. I found it condescending and insulting so much that I ceased to fish at that point and just went to watch my son's fish with the other guy Scott. I would not recommend working with Bryant in the future.
