This unforgettable one-day excursion begins with a departure from Reykjavik, traveling north on the ring road. As the journey progresses towards Snæfellsnes, the landscape transforms dramatically. Travelers will encounter vast lava fields, majestic mountains rising from the sea, picturesque fishing villages, and endless bays and beaches. A delightful lunch at a favorite local restaurant is included.

Hidden Iceland, Hidden Gem - Hidden Iceland coordinated our Iceland trip from start to finish and they were responsive, thoughtful and had great suggestions. Each of the three guides Matej, Levi and Macin were great at sharing information and history and stories while guiding us through the best sites in Iceland. Our groups were small, we traveled in comfortable vehicles, and had a wonderful time. Our driver to the airport even suggested a quick stop at a Viking Festival along the way as we had plenty of time. An extra bonus which we loved,

Excellent day trip from Reykjavik! - This peninsula has breathtaking views and the trip provides a wide range of scenery including waterfalls, glacier views, black sand beaches and spectacular rock formations. This was our 2nd tour with Hidden Iceland and it was a beautiful day. Our guide Einar went above and beyond to make sure that everybody in the group of 9 had an enjoyable day. There are many sights on this trip that you will find yourself remembering long after your vacation is over. There are far fewer crowds at many of the sights on this tour than some of the other areas that you can reach within a day from Reykjavik, making it that much easier to feel like you are communing with nature. This is an excellent tour to include in your itinerary!

Snæfellsnes Peninsula - The Peninsula trip was amazing. Our guides Fannar and Ragnar could not have been more helpful. Exquisite scenery, beautiful waterfalls, amazing geyser, as well as super recommendations for the rest of our time in Iceland. Exceptional. Highly recommended.

What a Beautiful Country and People! - Farnash (sp?) of Hidden Iceland was a fantastic guide! We traveled a long distance through snow, whiteouts, rain, sleet, and extremely windy conditions in a very comfortable and safe Mercedes minibus. It was a great tour. We learned so much about Iceland and the stories of the Hidden People and the myths and culture of Iceland. Our lunch was delicious. And our stops and the scenery along the way were amazing! It's funny. In other places, we may have been disappointed by the weather but somehow our driver/guide made the entire experience interesting and exciting and taught us the Icelandic expression - everything will work out in the end - which we came to embrace and appreciate.

Breathtaking Peninsula Tour - Our family had a great day on the peninsula tour and we were so happy to have Matej as our driver and guide. He is so knowledgeable and shared lots of information about each place we visited. Lunch was delicious! Thank you Matej and Hidden Iceland for a wonderful tour!

All day your of 6 different sites and attractions - It was a wonderful experience today and our tour guide was Einar, he is absolutely fantastic!!! He explained everything and has a great sense of humor. And just made the whole day so fun and an unforgettable experience for all of us. I highly recommend Hidden Iceland tours and Einar as the guide.

A Truly Wonderful Day! - We took 2 tours with other companies in Iceland. This was our 3rd and last and we wish we would have taken them all with Hidden Iceland. Robert (whom I nicknamed Robert Frost) was our wonderful guide for this trip. He was a very safe driver and full of excellent information and good humour all day long. As an added benefit, one of Robert Frost's hobbies is photography and he happily offered to take pics of the Hubs and I which are among the best we have for these travels. The bus (Dolly) was super comfortable, warm and more spacious than the others we had toured in prior. It also had wifi, which was nice to be able to upload photos to socials as we traveled. Lunch was the best I ate in Iceland. Communication with the company agents before the tour was excellent and informative. All in all, this is a high quality operation and we had a perfect experience.
