Gruyere tour (cheese, castle, and chocolate) - My son and I had planned to visit Gruyere on our own as he wanted to visit the HR Giger museum. I stumbled across this tour to Gruyère and decided to sign up. Had a great time at the cheese factory, the castle tour was well worth the visit. We were given plenty of free time to see the HR Giger museum and the bar along with having a delicious lunch of fondue. Unfortunately the chocolate factory was undergoing maintenance that day but our guide was able to take us to a second chocolatier where we could still make our own candy. All in all, a great excursion and would highly recommend to others.

Great tour for a chilly or rainy day. Chocolate was the highlight and great guide! - Great tour to choose when weather and visibility are less than ideal around Geneva and nearby areas! I booked this tour last minute and was thankful that another person booked the same because the tour will happen only with a minimum of 2 people. Maison Cailler was the highlight of the day for me - the production quality of the immersive experience was great and the free samples let me leave with pockets full of chocolates :-) Gabor is a fantastic guide, communicative, had fun facts, and maintained an easy conversation throughout. After I left an item of mine in his vehicle, he kindly returned it to the hotel where I was staying!

Totally enjoyed this... - Totally enjoyed this excursion. Gabor was the perfect guide - so knowledgeable and informative. His vehicle was clean spacious and comfortable. The itinerary was well planned. And the sights are a must for travellers in the area - the village of Gruyère is beautiful and charming, the award winning fondue lunch was delicious . The cheese and chocolate factory tours were very interesting and we loved all the samples! Highly recommend this excursion!!

Amazing, you don’t need to look anywhere else for a chocolate and cheese tasting tour! - I booked the chocolate and cheese factory with Gabor because of the promising reviews and it did not disappoint. He was an amazing tour guide from start to finish. Gabor is highly informative, and very polite. Our excursion to Gruyere was an incredible experience thanks to the weather and activities, and Gabor did a fantastic job in engaging with my partner and I throughout the day. His recommendation for the fondue was spot on. I would highly recommend for people to book this tour, it is a must and worth every penny. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you for an amazing day Gabor!

If you love cheese and chocolate, this is a must. - Our driver, Gabor, was terrific. He was timely, professional, and personable. We had a wonderful time learning and tasting cheese and chocolate. The medieval town and castle tour was a bonus. Personally, I would have loved time to go through the two museums in the village.

Wonderful - Gabor did a fantastic job with keeping us on track for each part of the tour including a nice lunch. He was safe in his driving and patient with questions. The cheese, chocolate, and castle were all great experiences.

No. - Minus the flat tire that delayed our trip, the experience was decent though rushed since museums closed at 4-5pm and it takes an hour plus to arrive. We were caught in traffic on the way back and missed our dinner reservations. It was nice to see the country side, but I’m not sure I would recommend to a colleague.

Comfortable (albeit a little rushed) trip to Gruyère - Gruyère was a bucket list excursion, but our place of stay was Geneva. So this tour was very well suited for us, especially as we do not drive. Gabor was a very good guide for us (there were only three of us total) soft-spoken but informative, with a great SUV which took us all the way from Geneva. Usually car rides don't always agree with me, but this was smooth and the views were awesome. Included were Gruyère castle, Cailler chocolate factory and the Gruyère cheese factory. So you are complete with audio guides for the two factories. All very interesting, great for foodies of all ages! (plus we found the shop at the Cailler factory surprisingly cheap! Considering Swiss prices. Bring extra luggage space!) The timing was a bit tight for us. The tour was delayed starting, perhaps because of morning traffic in Geneva, and we got stuck in queues in the cheese factory. None of this was anyone's fault, but it did pinch a lot of the free time away in which we would have enjoyed Gruyère (which is a beautiful medieval town) Especially as to avoid rush hour on our return trip. This jeopardised our visiting to the Giger museum (the entire point of our Switzerland trip), but we did manage. I would say, the information on Trip Advisor suggests quite a freeform trip with some tours included. My advice, however, would be to tell Gabor up front if there's anything extra you must see. He will accommodate it. But if time becomes a premium like it did with us, you can hopefully avoid some slight unease.
