Charro in Guadalajara - It was a very entertaining activity. From riding like a charro, throwing lasso, history, and tasting tequila, everything was there. The icing on the cake was a small concert by Jorge Torres.

A must-do for families. - If you are traveling with the family, you have to do this tour - and it’s great for adults, too! Our guidebook says that Guadalajara is famous for tequila, mariachi and charreria; I was familiar with the first two, but knew nothing about Mexican rodeo. The tour was fun and provided great insights into this thriving part of Jalisco culture - I appreciated so much more than I would have just going to the rodeo by itself.

So worth it experience - The whole experience was amazing. Jorge was amazing explaining the history and teachings us how to be a charro. Specifically the meaning behind it. My boys are 12 and 16 and they had a great time. The driver pick us up on time prior to the service at our location and drove us to the lienzo charro. Just a tip** Make sure to eat prior of your tour. It lasted a little bit and we were very hungry afterwards.

Don’t miss out. - I went on this tour on my own and it was a wonderful experience. My guide was very well versed on the history and was very knowledgeable as a Charro. He was also very kind and took plenty of pictures to document the day! I rode a horse that was so sweet. Sampled some tequila while he sang, he is talented. Wish I had time to stay for a Sunday show! Would 10/10 do this again.

Unique excursion - This was a great 1/2 day excursion. We wanted to do something different and this was perfect. We learned a lot about the charro (and Mexican) culture. The guide, Jorge, was fantastic. He was a great teacher of all things charro. The roping was hilarious and the horses gentle. Jorge even treated us to his amazing voice. Highly recommend.
