Fun Day in GDL - hanging out with Fernando during this tour was so much fun. His enthusiasm and deep knowledge of Guadalajara was contagious and make this experience super fun. it felt like we were walking around with old friends. Really glad my bf and i did this tour.

Saw a lot and learned a lot! - We have been to Mexico numerous times over the years, and didn't know that much of Mexico's history and cultural make up. Fernando gave us an eye opening walking tour that covered all the bases. We visited many interesting and important sites, and the how and why about the design elements and how the elements related to what was going on in Mexico when the buildings were built. Many things were as expected; cathedral, government buildings, and plazas. Many of the places had murals. In particular highlight was the work of Jose Clemente Orozco at the Hospicio Cabanas. Which for us was the highlight and end of the tour. It was like reading a good book, with a good ending. Made us want to learn more about Mexican history and Muralism.

So knowledgeable and... - So knowledgeable and friendly. Took us to his favorite cafe for a casual stop mid tour. Marvelous experience.

Sociology of Murals - This was a fantastic tour of the historic centro focusing on the Museo de Cabanea. Fernando was a great host. He has a wealth of knowledge on Mexico and Orosco. I immensely enjoyed my time with him. The Murals are stunning.
