Excellent, Timely, Professional Shuttle Service - Heriberto was very professional, responsive and timely with his pickups. We first rented his shuttle pickup service from Hacienda Guachapelin to Playa Flamingo as we forgot our license and were unable to rent a car. We ended up hiring him three times to drive us to and from various towns and Liberia airport. He provided Wi-Fi and water, and his prices were reasonable. Overall excellent service. I highly recommend him if you are in need of transportation!

Amazing shuttle services - What a great experience was to use this company. I landed in Liberia Airport and Leonardo was already waiting for me with a sign with my name on it right outside of the main airport entrance. Very professional and reliable. When I was getting ready to return a week later, someone reached out via WhatsApp to confirm my return trip. This time it was a different driver who was very professional and on time to pick me up. If I go back to Tamarindo, I will use this company again. I highly recommend anyone going to Tamarindo using them

Great Experience! - I worked with Tamarindo Travel to book my roundtrip shuttle to/from Airport for 6. Once in Tamarindo, I used the WhatsApp communication to book the Catamaran Tour as well as a round trip transportation to Playa Avellanas. The Catamaran Tour was such a great experience for my friends and I. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the beach where we were taken out the Catamaran. The staff on the boat were awesome - open bar all day, we saw sea turtles and a whale(!!!). The food was great and the views/experience all around was a highlight of our trip. The communication, drivers etc were all great. I would highly recommend to other travelers.

Always great service and value! - I had first used Tamarindo Travel back in 2011 as our transfer service from Liberia Airport to Tamarindo and return. At the time Heriberto ensured a high level of friendly service at a good price. For our trip this May, we planned to stay a few days in Marbella, Samara, and Playa Matapalo. Because we needed to move around the Guanacaste region so much, we planned on renting a car but out of curiosity I asked for a quote from Heriberto and it was actually a much lower cost to have his service look after all our transport needs, especially when you consider the complex insurance costs for car rentals. We booked a total of four trips on this vacation, and our driver was Ronny for each leg of the trip. The service was very friendly, on time, and informative. Ronny was extremely pleasant and welcoming and was eager to answer all our questions and provide us with a very informative guide experience as we drove throughout the region. Ronny's English was very good and he was happy to teach us some Spanish along the way. We were very happy that we chose to take the stress out of the travel and hand it over to the pros so we could sit back and enjoy. For us, Tamarindo Travel is and always will be our go to choice for travel services in and around the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica.

Great guides - My boyfriend and I didn't originally plan on booking an adventure tour while in Costa Rica but it turned out to be around the same cost just to get to our second destination. It saved us some cash to book a transfer + tour from playa grande to rincon de la vieja, rather than book just a transfer then get slammed with the high prices at the tour location (if we chose to do so). Harold and Ronny came to pick us up promptly and were great from the start. To be honest I didn't sleep well the night before and had planned to sleep during the ride but Herald kept the ride so interesting with local history, current issues, facts about the flora and fauna that I forgot that I was tired. They were very knowledgable and open to questions and there was always interesting conversation flowing. Both were very friendly with great senses of humour. Harold and Ronny always had us ready first before any other group for our activities and we would always see Heralds bright green t-shirt at the end of the trail/ride/river waiting for us and would always offer water and ask how the activity was. Because we were always ready for the activities first Harold and Ronny would share anecdotes, facts about the flora/fauna while we waited for the rest of the other groups to get ready. During lunch we shared a nice meal together and got to know each other a bit better. We were done lunch first, which meant we got to beat the crowd to the hot spring where my boyfriend and I got to enjoy a quieter experience than the rest of the other travel groups. Harold and Ronny were great guides and I 100% recommend them to anyone thinking about doing an adventure tour. If you book through tamarindo travels, try to see if you can get this great duo to be your guides.

Safe - Friendly - Professional - Prompt, reliable and very friendly. We used Tamarindo travel from the Liberia Airport to the Westin Playa Conchal, and again from the Westin all the way to the Nayara Hotel in Fortuna (3/12-4 hours). Reasonable rates and eager to tell you all you want to know about their country making several photo op stops for sights, sloths, monkeys and toucans! Highly recommend.

Round trip private transfer from LIR to Playa Flamingo - We booked through this company when we were originally staying in Tamarindo. When we changed to Playa Flamingo it was no trouble. They were about 10 minutes late at the airport as the original van broke-down, but both rides to and from the airport were nice and clean. the A/C worked well and they had - wait for it - FREE WiFi!!!! My kids were in hog-heaven. We paid $150 round trip for private transfer for a family of four. We tipped the drive $20 each way. This may have been excessive, but we could afford to give an extra $10.
