Great time on 2 tours! - We met MacDanny and Marco on the beach in front of Riu Palace. we booked horseback riding, ATV tour and zip lining for the next morning. Everything was exactly as they said it would be! First, we took a short walk to the horses and took a ride through the woods and beach. We saw monkeys, iguana, and beautiful birds. Then, we got on ATVs spent about 2 1/2 hours seeing the countryside, going through rivers, and swimming at a waterfall watering hole. Finally, we zip lined at Congo Trail. It was a wonderful day! We had so much fun we decided to book a four hour fishing tour 2 days later. Picked up right on the beach. We spent several hours riding around the coastline. We caught tuna, red snapper, and trigger fish. They made ys fresh shashimi and ceviche right there on the boat with the fish we caught. I highly recommend these tour guides!

Dope af - Marco made our trip really exciting. He was very helpful and showed us around the local area. The prices were very good and much better than other local competitors. No doubt I will work with Marco on my next trip here

Just contact Marco or ask anyone on the beach.we stayed in Riu Palace Everybody in Costa Rica knows this guy. We will be returning in July to experience more with him as we only stayed 3 nights. But he made it so memorable for our honeymoon that were planning the next trip already. Thanks again. Pura vida!!!!

Pura Vida ! - Our experience on the ATVs with Frank was great ! He made extra stops that weren’t even part of the 3 beaches ! Beautiful views and so much fun ! Highly recommended .

Look for Marco Polo, and defently the best on tours - So much fun, we did white water rafting and A.T.V to Tamarindo Beach.. Excellent ATV tour with Marco Polo!! - We did an ATV tour from the Riu Palace resort with Marco Polo adventures and had the best time! Our tour guide (Kevin) was incredibly patient and helpful and took us around to some amazing places! We got to see towns, beaches, and a waterfall, and had a really great time! We highly recommend booking your ATV tour with Marco Polo as they are professional, reliable, and a lot of fun!!

disgusting service - Very bad service the quad bike Was in very bad condition they was very nice at the start but once we paid and was on the tour they change the way they was. They tried to charge us for damage that was already done they were very rude they threatened us until we paid would never recommend them

THIEVES!!!! LADRONES!!!! - THIEVES!!! THIEVES!!! ask for a deposit upfront and ask for all the money upfront before leaving. Left us with a tour guide he contracted that did not take us where we were suppose too.. when to 2 crappy beaches and came back through the Pueblo.. asked for our money back since we were suppose to go to 3 beaches , a jungle tour, and a mirador which is a vista view we did none of that… so we asked for our money back and he denied to do so… Marco and Allen agreed to work with us on a Catamaran tour that was going to be amazing.. the day came and no catamaran!!! THIEVES!!! don’t use these ppl or anyone on the beach your better off paying the hotel an extra $20-$30… Terrible terrible terrible crappy service

No show - First trip we went on volcano, rain forest, sloth tour. Marco was supposed to go with us, but sent a substitute who didn’t know much English. We missed the waterfall and rio Celeste due to inclement weather. Tour was ok, nothing special. Tour guides usually help make the tours more exciting, but Fernando was just sort of there. Second trip, we paid a deposit to go out on an guided atv trip with Marco Polo.... waited and waited at designated spot. Never showed. Fortunately other local guide Ceasar, put together a trip for us so we didn’t have to miss the ATV’s. Marco went MIA for several days. Then showed back up yesterday and kept saying he would pay our deposit back to us that he had gotten sick 🙄, but the man with his money never showed..... right...... So please avoid him, cannot be trusted. Not sure what guy these other reviewers met.
