Amazing all round - This excursion is well worth the money. The animals are well cared for and the staff super informative! The absolute best part was the cultural experience. Some of the kids didn’t want to go, but we dragged them along and they no say it was their favourite! Kenneth went entertained us all with his presentation. When one of our kids was sick (not related to the excursion) he went above and beyond. He made sure he was ok and even arranged for someone to drive my son and I directly back to our hotel. 100% the most fun part of our whole holiday!

Pleasantly Surprised - Wasn’t sure if we wanted to go to this park and I was very pleasantly surprised with the experience. Excellent and informative. Staff extremely friendly and are genuinely interested in educating visitors. We spent a good 3 hours visiting the various exhibits. The surroundings and the animals seemed to be in a very comfortable and natural habitat. Good for all ages.

DO IT! - WOWWW! This ecopark was so amazing! We got to see sloths, wild cats- Jaguars! Really cool to walk around and see animal life that we don't have in our zoos. We also did the cultural tour- super worth it! The staff members were knowledgeable of the animals and Costa Rican plant life and culture. 100% recommend.
While we didn't zipline here, everyone who did looked like they had an amazing time.

Highly recommed - I was smiling when I left. What made the day were the staff. Every one of them were so helpful and friendly. The cultural experience consists of an information session and tasting on coffee, sugar cane, and chocolate. Along with that, there were farm animals there which you can visit. The ziplining is actually 5 ziplines varying in length. You have to do all 5 if you commit. Then there is the animal sanctuary which has varying animals that are rescued. Very clean spot. What a great day. Well worth the visit. I would not reccommend this for people with canes, walkers, or wheelchairs.

Entertaining and educational - This was a wonderful, pleasant introduction to some of the culture in Costa Rica. We learned more about the production of coffee that we had ever known, all presented with a great sense of humour.

my first visit to Diamante Eco Adventure Park - A beautiful place and sanctuary. very well kept and friendly staff. it was my first time in Costa Rica and wanted to visit. I especially enjoyed the Sloth feeding and the big cats. The welcome center was amazing as well as the view. If I ever get to come back I will definitely return for a visit and maybe try the zipline.

Great experience! - Our experience at Diamante was heavenly. The sanctuary is situated in a very remote location, so it does not feel separate from the natural wildlands it is surrounded by. We spent the day observing the many animals housed there, and additionally attended the cultural tour. From start to finish, we were received with great kindness & support from all the staff. Every member of the team took time out to talk with us, connect with us, share with us, & be curious about us. The cultural tour was fantastic! We tried fresh cacao seed pods, toasted cacao beans, fresh coffee made with a chorreador, & freshly made chocolate! When leaving for the day, we watched a family of howler monkeys tree hop above us & a large iguana declare its territory from a couple feet away. If you have a chance to visit, it’s truly not to be missed!

Great day trip for kids! - Our trip to Diamanté far exceeded our expectations! The two of us (grandparents) took our daughter’s family of four to Diamanté for the day, including grandkids 4 and 7 years old. We did the Animal Sanctuary and Cultural Experience, arriving at 10 am. We expected the grandkids to last about 5-6 hours, but they surprised us and made it to closing time! We did not do zip lining, the ATV’s or horseback riding as the kids were too young.
The park is clean, well laid-out and easy to navigate. The butterfly sanctuary and replicate Costa Rican farmhouse/farm were highlights. All of us enjoyed learning about coffee, chocolate production and sugarcane farming. There are also goats, cows, and chickens the kids could interact with. One of the staff members at the farm, Ken, was just great with the kids, as was Kevin who did most of the explanation/demonstration about chocolate, coffee, and sugarcane.
At the butterfly sanctuary, Justin was very skilled and patient in working with our grandkids.
There is a wonderful playground on-site, and both complete meals and snacks are available.
Highly recommend Diamanté!

Diamante Cultural Tour and Animal Sanctuary - The Animal Sanctuary was very well done. The staff provided a lot of information about the animals. Lucy the sloth is adorable. The Botanical Garden is planted on the pathway to the casita where the cultural experience was held. The cultural experience was ok. Too many people so it was hard to hear what the guide was saying. Also, he provided information about cacao and coffee but did not cover anything about sugarcane. Would probably go to a different cultural tour but thoroughly enjoyed the animal sanctuary. Some ziplines go above the animal sanctuary and it was fun to see them. We will go back and do the ziplines.
