Fascinating - The cultural tour was very fascinating. The guide seemed very knowledgeable in the process of growing and making coffee. My favorite was the treat of turning those coffee beans into chocolate!

Highly recommend - We had a great day, visiting and viewing the animals. Enclosures the animals were in are all clean & well kept. The workers at the exhibits are extremely knowledgeable & friendly. They pointed out the tiny or camouflaged animals (frogs, snakes etc) & told us many interesting facts about each one. Highly recommend! Buffet was a nice touch at the end & great bang for your buck! Something for everyone.

Perfect outing - First we were driven from the parking lot to reception. Then we took a van to The coffee/ chocolate tour. The house was small and inviting. Our guides were so charming and informative. We learned how different coffees are made, how chocolate and cocoa butter are made, and how sugar is made. We had samples of each! Then we walked to the zoo. We had guides for the frog and basilisk houses, and the we enjoyed the orchid and butterfly houses. I finally saw the sloths Lucy and Antonio! Then we went home. Lovely day!

A fun day! - My friend and I had limited options for tours as we both have issues that inhibit our mobility some at the moment. We found this place and were thrilled because we wanted to do at least some tours while we were here. This fit the bill so we signed up and both of us Loved it! We went on the cultural tour, ate lunch there and then spent the rest of the time looking at the animals in the sanctuary. The employees in the park were helpful and excellent at teaching us about the animals. They answered all of our questions. It was so fun and we are so glad we went. Also, I was pleasantly surprised at how good the buffet was. I am not a big buffet fan but this buffet was the best one I’ve ever had. If I had known about this park earlier I might have gone twice.

Excellent experience for younger children - Surprisingly this did not come up on our searches for child friendly activities in Guanacaste. My kids are toddlers so zip lines and most other recommended activities were unavailable to us. The kids had a great time identifying the animals. We purchased the cultural tour expecting to opt out due to the hot temperatures that day, but we are so glad we attended it. The presentation was great and the gentlemen (Kevin and the ranch attendant) made it incredibly memorable for us all. The entire class had a great time learning about chocolate, coffee, and sugarcane. Special thanks to Kevin and the gentleman running the ranch who gave my young daughters an experience they will not forget! We toured the whole animal Sanctuary first and made it to the cultural experience after taking a total of 3 hours.
