After the walk, you will arrive at the CASONA, an old house from the Hacienda that played a crucial role in history, being the key site of the filibuster invasion into Costa Rica in 1856.
Santa Rosa National Park is unique as the only Protected Wilderness Area with a historical museum within its boundaries. Visitors can explore and learn about Costa Rica’s history. This excursion, which includes visiting the forest and the historical museum, can be completed in about 2 hours.
