- Li River - Your guide pick you up at your hotel lobby at about 08:30 am. Enjoy the 1-hour drive to Zhujiang Dock to board one of the best cruises on the Li River. As the ship departs from Guilin at about 9:30 am your fantastic cruise journey starts. Your guide will escort you on board and give you an introduction to the different sites along the way. Once you are there, you would find out what it means by “picturesque”!
Around noon, have a simple lunch offered onboard by the cruise company and continue the cruise. The cruise will arrive in Yangshuo after approx. 4 hours.
After disembarking at around 2pm, take a stroll on the famous West Street, and then tour around the countryside of Yangshuo. You will also visit a local farmer’s house. You could also take a bike tour to enjoy the landscapes.
- Guilin - After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Guilin by an approx. 1.5-hour drive.

Guilin Review - The views were amazing! Guilin is one of the best spots in China. The Li River cruise was one of the highlights of the trip. I highly recommend the rice field trip in October after the national holidays to see the harvest colors in less crowded times.

Walk in Yangshuo - amazing!! - Lily foi nossa guia no passeio de barco de Guilin até Yangshuo. She picked us up at the hotel and was super inquisitive, telling us several nice things about the tour qué we would do. During the four hours of boating, we went talking, she explained more things to us... super nice, in addition to being a beautiful place! I highly recommend this trip with Lily!! Then she took us to the hotel with the driver to check in and we went on a bike ride through Yangshuo’s rural area. Lily always caring, caring and helpful. We really liked our day with her!!!

Great Way to Enjoy Guilin Wonders! - The river cruise was a fantastic way to see the famous Guilin karsts, and the visit to Yangshuo and the charming surrounding countryside was wonderful.
Tony was a great guide, patiently answering our questions and giving us plenty of time to enjoy our walk after the cruise.
Highly recommended!

Great. One of the best! - It is short but totally satisfying because
1- Tour guide, Lily. Lily is exceptional. She is very passionate about her job. She always give you her best regardless of weather and situation we are facing for the day. Rain or shine, Lily will make your day wonderful! Lily also a very folk songs singer. She will bring you back to thousand years to see and hear history through music and stories. She is exceptional!
2- Guilin to Yangshuo via Li river has absolutely beautiful views. Your eyes will be pleased with what is changing throughout the entire journey.
3-Drivers are punctual and drive safely. You can close your eyes and take a nap before the next visit.

Guilin boat cruise with Tom - We highly recommend Tom. He was our tour guide that helped us explore Guilin on a boat cruise. He is very knowledgeable and speaks very good English. He is also a local person who grew up in Guilin, which is a big plus if you want to learn about Guilin and the neighborhood at first hand. After the cruise, Tom took us to local villages, where we explored China from a completely different perspective: we saw farmers, rice fields and plenty of fruit and vegetables growing that we’ve never seen before. Tom is also a great photographer - we have some of the best shots from the whole trip in China.
All in all, if you think about exploring Guilin and the neighborhood while learning about China, ask for Tom and you won’t get disappointed :).

Unique nature and experience - 2 days in Guilin to live the wonderful nature and relaxing atmosphere all around. River cruise was well organized and comfortable. Then countryside and cave visit were a nice experience, thanks also to our nice guide Lily Cao, who was very supportive and did a special job in making us understanding and appreciating local culture. She is a great singer too! All highly reccomended, thank you!

Great day - Tom Wu was a very good guide. We had a fantastic day on the cruise and saw some beautiful views!! Then we did a brief walk through Yangshuo and ended up visiting a small village. All in all it was a complete day!

Amazing day on the Li River Cruise - Spent a very very nice day out with our special guide Tom Wu. He was excellent company, gave very good information and always adjusted everything as we told him to do! We spent time on the cruise first, then spent some time in Yangshuo town and also visited a traditional village. We then went back to Guilin and had a nice leisurely walk in town along the parks and gardens. Tom also took us to a mosque as we were Muslim and that was the cherry on the cake of an excellent day. Highly recommend Travel China Guide and Tom too!

Gorgeous Countryside And Friendly People - This was a beautiful trip. Our guide, Oscar, met our family of 8 at the hotel on the day of the tour. We rode in the tour van to the dock. Everything was handled by Oscar, including buying the tickets and lunches for everyone. The boat cruise was amazing. It goes about 4 hours on the Li River, with supernatural looking limestone mountains rising up from everywhere. It was raining that day, which made the scenery look otherworldly with the mountains shrouded in white. We were comfortable inside the cabin, but often ventured to the top deck to check out the jaw dropping views. My 10 year old didn't want to come in even when it was pouring rain.
After the cruise, we walked through the town at the end, Yang Shuo. There were lots of shops and restaurants, and we bought some snacks and took lots of pictures. Then, for the highlight of the trip, Oscar took us to a nearby farming village. It's a rural place with plain buildings and rice farms. But all of it is nestled among the same beautiful mountains as on the river. The villagers were super friendly. They were as interested in us as we were in them and welcomed us into their homes. Along the way we passed a guy walking a pair of water buffalos. We never would have gone to the village without our guide. That was very special.

Discovering China with the help of a competent and reliable travel agent - Travel China Guide Tours organised our private tour tailoring the programme exactly to our wishes. My husband and I visited all the cities and all the countryside that we wanted to see during our 23 day trip across China. The agency provided excellent local professional guides, responsible drivers, and took care of reserving the best accommodation, most appropriate means of transport (air, train, car, boat, ship) and visits to the heritage sites, museums, and villages. Our travel consultant was available throughout our travel and reacted swiftly to meet our needs once we started out journey. I highly recommend to travellers who are not fluent in the language of the host country, who fall in the category of seasoned "elderly" travellers, and who want to discover the country not just destinations such as Beijing or Shanghai (cities in which you can easily get around with English and/or translation apps) to entrust the support to the travel agent. Our experience was highly positive.
