One recommended spot is the Canton Tower, an iconic symbol of the city. Take your time to wander and explore at your leisure.
• Chen Clan Ancestral Hall-Folk Craft Museum - Alternatively, you might opt to visit the Chen Clan Temple/Ancestral Hall, often referred to as the “Forbidden City of the South.” This is one of the grandest examples of Qing Dynasty architecture, adorned with intricate carvings in wood, brick, stone, and ivory, and housing some of the most exquisite collections of silk embroidery, ceramics, and paintings.
• Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street - For those interested in shopping, there’s the option to explore various pedestrian shopping streets like Beijing Road or Shangxiajiu, or delve into wholesale markets that offer clothing, watches, handbags, accessories, and more.
