A must do excursion while in Medellin - We have traveled to so many countries and our family of 5 (3 grown kids) all agree that this is one of our favorite tours ever!!! Our guide David was just incredible. He was so enthusiastic all day long. Our tour was 12 hours from pick up to drop off and it just flew by. We had so many amazing stops. David is a fantastic storyteller and we loved learning all about Colombia and Pablo Escobar! The tour was just our family of 5 in a mini van, so we were able to alter as necessary. We cut out the cemetery as it saved us 2 hours that we could spend at some of the other stops that we cared about more. David was a fantastic driver. For our boat tour, we were in a private boat with just our group. This was fantastic as we saw boats filled with 50-100 people go by. Our boat driver would stop at strategic points and explain what we were looking at.
Another thing about David is that he was a fantastic DJ as we drove from location to location. He had a great playlist and we enjoyed singing along to the songs. At one point he let me son DJ and he had fun picking the songs. It certainly made the driving part more fun.
Bring along a raincoat and/or light jacket as the weather changes so frequently!
The hike to the top of El Peñol is well worth it. The views from the top are fantastic!

Perfect tour! - David did a great job as tour gide!
He showed us everything we wanted to see.
And could tell us a lot about the history.
A very friendly and enjoyable guy!
The tour was really great we learned a lot!
Also the boat trip and guatape where really worth it!
We would recommend this tour if you want a full day of enjoyment and learning!
It is a complete tour you don't want to miss!!!

Full day of history and nature in Medellin - Visitng Medellin and surroundings has been a great highlight of our trip in Colombia. We had this full day visiting Pablo Escobar museum and Guatape. The trip overall was very well organized and the schedule has the perfect activities to enjoy the full day, interesting history facts to learn, and the great stone to climb up, super interesting.

Extended version of tour well worth the extra cost! - We did the most complete version of the tour called VIP+ on the Medellin City Services website. Tour guide David was excellent. We saw so many sites and he gave great insight into the history. Also went to Guatapé and climbed the rock, and finished with a private boat ride on one of the lakes, stopping to see Escobar’s La Manuela. Highly recommended!

Learned A lot - First of all there’s no way we would have enjoyed this tour as much as we did without our tour guide Juan D. He spoke great English and was so professional and very knowledgeable of the sites. He always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. He never rushed us. This tour covered a lot. I’m definitely glad we did it to get to know the country better.

Amazing - The entire experience was great but the best part was our guide Juan Duke’He was very informative polite, and made sure that we enjoyed our selves. Second I would have to say Guatpe’! The view was amazing and the journey to the top is well worth it! There was food and drinks it was great!

Amazing - Wow! That is all I have to say about this tour. It is a must when you come to Medellin. Christian was a great host and very knowledgeable about everything on the tour. I have been fascinated about Columbia and Pablo Escobar since the mid 80’s. It was so cool to see things that I have seen on tv many times. Guatapé is absolutely breathtaking as is La Peidra - definitely do the 6 minute helicopter ride. I would rate this tour 6 stars if I could.

Medellin, Pablo Escobar & Guatape Tour (Private) - We had a group of 7 in a private tour with Silvio and “the white beast” (his van). Our experience could not have been any better! I would highly recommend Silvio and this experience to anyone and everyone!! He was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He also helped us with recommendations for the remainder of our stay. His English was perfect and he had a great sense of humor.
On top of it all, a member of our group was celebrating their birthday and Silvio went above and beyond and even set up a little surprise with a cake and balloons for her at a local shop!
I don’t think I can say enough kind words for how awesome our experience with Silvio was! Thank you for making our trip so memorable!!

Silvio is OUTSTANDING: Pablo Escobar Tour + Guatape - What a way to start off a trip! Our guide, Silvio, made the entire trip worth it. He was friendly, funny, knowledgeable and everything you would want from a tour guide. He went ABOVE and BEYOND what we expected. The Pablo Escobar Tour was very cool, especially if you've watched the Netflix show Narcos. La Catedral provides a great overview of Medellin. Climbing Piedra del Penol provided another beautiful view of Colombia. Silvio provided such a great experience and stayed in contact throughout our entire trip (even outside Medellin) to ensure everything went well. He recommended other tours and linked us to other individuals to get to and from places. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour or a tour with this provider. Get Silvio if you can. Guatape is a beautiful city as well, I wish we could have spent a bit more time in the city to explore.

Pablo Escobar & Guatape - This was a great start to all of our first time in Colombia. Our guide Silvio was our highlight of the trip and made sure we had THE BEST DAY EVER. His enthusiasm and knowledge made the day even better than we could have imagined. The Pablo Escobar sights were very interesting and Guatape was simply incredible. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Medellin.
