On this incredible tour, visitors will have the opportunity to explore Pablo Escobar’s mansion in Guatapé, a site rich in history surrounded by lakes and stunning landscapes. Guests can enjoy a thrilling paintball game in one of the most iconic houses of the Colombian capo. Additionally, they can tour the estate on ATVs to take in the breathtaking scenery. The tour also includes climbing the Guatapé rock via its stairs to experience one of the best views in the area. A boat ride on the lake will allow guests to soak in the paradisiacal landscape. A stroll through the charming streets of Guatapé, a vibrant town decorated with its famous zócalos, is a must. Finally, the tour concludes with a return to the hotel in Medellin.

Very nice ride from... - Very nice ride from Medellin to guatape in a nice comfortable air-conditioned car, the tour was great. The guide was very helpful very knowledgeable and we had a lot of fun.

Highly Recommend this Private Tour of Guatapé - A really wonderful full-day trip to Guatapé. Alejandro picked up the three of us from our hotel in Medellin. Communication the day before was clear and concise. Getting to see the Escobar mansion ruins and ATV around the property was really cool. We did the paintball, but just for target practice and it was fun (but hot with all the gear). Boat trip on the lake was kinda short but very beautiful. Lunch was very tasty and high quality (out of pocket, as noted). Piedra Penol is a pretty easy climb if you’re in reasonable shape and such great views - really gives you a full perspective on how beautiful Guatapé is. Highly recommend this trip. It’s a matter of preference and what you’re able/willing to spend…but I was so happy to be on a private tour versus all the overpacked boats with blaring music we saw on the lake. 🤷🏽♂️

Guatape tour guide - Amazing Tour with Felipe – Highly Recommend!
Felipe was an outstanding guide who made our trip unforgettable! He took us to the breathtaking Guatapé Rock, the colorful Guatapé Plaza, and the historic Pablo Escobar mansion, all while sharing fascinating insights about the area.
Felipe also introduced us to delicious local food, explaining the cultural significance behind each dish, which added so much to our experience. His friendly personality, enthusiasm, and attention to detail made the day feel special and effortless.
If you’re visiting Medellín, a tour with Felipe is a must. He’s knowledgeable, professional, and truly passionate about showcasing his country. Highly recommend!

Highlight of our Trip! - This was the highlight of our trip! Felipe (Pipe) was a fantastic guide. Super knowledgeable, friendly and flexible with the plans. We really enjoyed his company and had a blast at the mansion riding ATVs, playing paintball, boating, walking through Guatapé and hiking the rock. Highly recommend!

Awesome Experience with Teen Seal of Approval! - Paintball and ATV's are always reliable family fun, but this experience took it to another level that might be hard to replicate anywhere else in the world because of the historical setting and overall beauty of the area. We had a flawless meetup with our guide Steven in front of Guatapé's central church and an easy speedboat ride to Pablo Escobar's bombed out mansion, La Manuela. Our ATV guide there was Paula, and she did a fantastic job taking us on a tour of the property and making different stops to give us exciting context and answer our many questions about Escobar's complicated history. Our paintball guide Freddy was excellent too and we loved playing Capture the Colombian Flag! He offered us full overalls, vests, and gloves for playing, which we appreciated. If you're visiting Guatapé, don't miss out on this rare opportunity.

Amazing trip, wonderful guide! - We had an amazing day with Alejandro who was an excellent guide. The combination of the boat over the lake, the quads, the hacienda of Escobar and the view from the Guatape rock was great. We loved Guatape town too. All in all a brilliant day!!

Experience in Guatapé! - The tour was spectacular, full of adventure and unforgettable scenery. Santiago, our guide, did an exceptional job: attentive, knowledgeable and with an infectious energy that made the day even more special. From Pablo Escobar’s mansion to paintball, quad bikes and boat tour, everything was perfectly organized. Highly recommended for those looking for a day full of history and fun!

Unique experience - We lived a unique experience and enjoyed the stunning and extraordinary landscapes of Guatapé, while ensuring quality care, with expert guides who provided constant care. A beautiful tour 💚 - Don Gabriel was the best guide we could have had. Not only was he patient and kind to us, he shared a lot of history and interesting facts about the history of Medellin and the points we visited. As women travelers we feel safe, respected and happy.
