Unforgettable experience! - The walk up the hill was a bit challenging with lots of steps, but totally worth it. Everyone there was super friendly and welcoming. They had drinks available to purchase while you waited. The views were absolutely incredible! My guide made me feel safe and at ease the entire time, and took tons of great photos. Overall, an unforgettable experience—highly recommend!

An unforgettable experience with an exceptional guide - I had an amazing experience on the tour with Andrés. He is a lovely man, very kind and with admirable patience. From the beginning he made sure we were comfortable and enjoying the tour. His knowledge of the place, combined with his charisma and attention to detail, made the tour not only informative, but also very enjoyable. He was always willing to answer our questions, take his time and adapt to our pace. I definitely recommend it 100%. Thank you, Andrés, for such a special experience!

BEST Tour We Ever Took - This was a new adventure for me and my husband. Our Tour guide was Erika ! We loved everything about her. She was attentive , very informative, and just about the sweetest thing you could find in Colombia. It was a smooth pick up from our hotel, she was always on time. We stopped at paragliding first( anxiety through the roof) , it was WORTH EVERY PENNY we spent. After completing that thrilling ride we had a celebratory drink at the cafe on site and was off to Guatape. In the town of Guatape we explored the rock and also went into town. I loved how private the tour was, me and my husband got to move at our own pace and actually take in our surroundings, then back to the hotel we went. The day was long but Erika made sure we explored until we couldn’t anymore. She was SO GREAT we ended up booking our city tour of Medellin with them also. Money well spent. If you’re reading this Erika We Miss You Amiga!

MedellĂn Day Tours and Erika are the Best! - My friend and I have traveled all over the world, and Erika it’s hands-down one of the absolute best guides we have ever had. From the moment she picked us up at our Airbnb, to the time when she dropped us off, she was professional, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, caring, and just all around amazing. The drive felt quick because of her wonderful talks about the country and all the sites we were seeing. Her knowledge level is astounding. she made sure that both my friend and I were able to do everything we wanted to, because the two of us do not have quite the same tastes. The way she was able to please, and accommodate both of us was incredible. I cannot say enough about all the sites we saw, the boat ride that was set up, a smooth trip for me at the rock, and the way Erika made sure that I had an incredible guide for the paragliding. We loved Erika so much that we booked two more tours with her during our short stay. We would return to Medellin just to be able to take a tour with Erika again.

Laura 10 Stars - It was incredible. Laura was a the best guide I’ve ever had. Not only was she well informed but also extremely patient with us. You will not be disappointed with booking this. Her food recommendations are top notch as well. The paragliding teams were 10/10. As a fully bodied man (280 lbs) haha they made me feel very comfortable with their skills.

Amazing experience and coordination - Really appreciated this private tour. We were on a time crunch and wanted to do as much as possible in the few days we had in MedellĂn. Laura was able to coordinate everything and find alternative routes to avoid some traffic so we could get to the paragliding spot on time. Driving from Medellin to Guatape then to Cocorna was a feat we wouldn’t have been able to do by ourselves.

An unforgettable day with Sara! - I had a fantastic day with Sara on the Guatapé and Paragliding tour! She is an amazing tour guide—super knowledgeable about her country, incredibly energetic, and genuinely personable. From start to finish, she took such great care of me and made the experience unforgettable.
One thing I really appreciated was how proactive and communicative she was with the paragliding team. The weather was constantly shifting, but she stayed on top of it and worked closely with them to find the perfect window to fly. It made all the difference and ensured I didn’t miss out on the experience.
Also, a big shoutout to Andrés for suggesting we move the tour to Monday instead of Easter Sunday—such smart advice! We avoided all the traffic and crowds, which was a game changer since I had limited time. I got to enjoy everything without feeling rushed and made it back with no stress.
Overall, an incredible experience made even better by Sara’s passion, professionalism, and great vibes. Highly recommend!

Daniel, our guide, was... - Daniel, our guide, was great. He picked us up on time and off we went to paraglide. The weather wasn't looking too good, so he checked with the gliding company who suggested we try later. So Daniel rearranged the trip and off we went to Guatape and Pernol. Just as we started to climb the mountain, it started to sprinkle, but we were determined. Daniel waited for us at a coffee shop, and off we went to Guatape. He suggested several lunch places, and after lunch took us on a nice walking tour around the city. Luckily the rain had stopped before lunch, so we stayed dry the rest of the day. Then off we went to paraglide. Again, the weather was iffy, but Daniel was persistent in contacting the gliding company to confirm. It was still overcast, but we floated above the mountains and viewed two waterfalls before touching down in a small town. We were whisked back up the mountain to the starting point to reconnect with Daniel and then returned to Medellin. It wasn't the prettiest day, but between Daniel's tour information, his taking pictures of us, and his being persistent so that we would have a memorable day, we had a blast.
