Truly awesome and you should do it. - The tour was great, however Cesar was AMAZING. How did we get so lucky to have him on a private English tour with a legand in Medellin Colombia. His wealth of knowledge and pride for his country made this excursion unforgettable. Every stop we made, every corner we turned, he either knew someone or they knew him. Now to the trip, hahaha. It truly did not feel like a long day when you are with friends. The coffee tour was epic and provided a new appreciation for that cup of coffee I have everyday. We got lucky and met a great portion of the Rivera family. The El Peñón de Guatapé, aka the Rock, was EPIC. Yes there are a ton of steps. There is no rush, so take your time. When you reach the top like my husband and I did, you will be so proud of yourselfs.

Amazing Tour - The best experience we had while visiting Colombia. The tour guide (Caesar) was amazing, helpful and kind! My friend and I enjoyed the coffee tour the most along with the guides knowledge about the areas. The best tour we had while there.

Fantastic day with Cesar - We had a great day with Cesar! He arrived at our hotel early so we were able to get a head start on the day. Along the way we stopped for some delicious hot tea. We made another stop at a road side stand that had tasty hot corn hush puppies. Our next stop was at a coffee farm which was worth the trip alone. We learned about the process of growing the coffee and then processing it. I have a much greater appreciation for all of the hard work that goes into making a cup of coffee. We happily purchased several bags to take home. After coffee we continued on to The Rock. It was raining but we still enjoyed making our way to the top for a great view. Finally, we made our way to the town of Guatapé. We loved walking around, taking loads of photos and buying some chocolate. We had a great lunch and then headed back to Medellin. Cesar was an outstanding guide. We was warm and knowledgeable and kept us engaged and entertained the entire time. We look forward to returning one day!

Great tour with Cesar - highly recommend! - Had the best time with our tour guide, Cesar!! He was very knowledgeable and shared a lot about not only Guatape and the coffee farm but about Colombia in general. The car was comfortable with air conditioning and he showed us all kinds of different foods we would have never tried on our own. We had a great time and never felt rushed - taking our time as we needed. Would highly recommend this tour - thank you for the wonderful day!!

Spectacular, enriching experience - We went with Andrés Ibarra, he explained everything about the places we went, he told us about his culture and he was a very kind person with us. We didn't go on the coffee excursion (because we didn't want it, it was optional) but he suggested we go to the reservoir on a boat and his suggestion was fantastic. We went to eat and saw more of their culture in Guatape. There are very good places to take photos. 100% recommended the tour with Andrés.

Great excursion, request a bigger car if you are a group of 4 - We had a great time at the coffee plantation and our guide Juan was great. The only negative was they sent a Volkswagen Jetta for 4 of us and the 2-hour drive each way was very tight and uncomfortable. If they had sent a bigger vehicle it would have been a perfect experience

Medium - Bottom line experience: better to hire a driver for a day to see these beautiful sites. The guide spoke English and delivered us to all places, and agreed to make an extra stop on the way back. We avoided a line to buy tickets to attraction. The information provided however was sparse and neither correct, nor reliable. We were told to explore at our speed and leisure, but were politely forced to do, go, eat what when and how the guide wanted and our eagerness to see and explore these attractions felt politely unwelcome.
