Peñol climbing, boat ride and helicopter ride a must - Amazing
We really climbed the 708 steps, no other way to get up there. It's worthy the climbing experience. You must do it.
Not for handicapped persons 😭

Very good tour and amazing colorful trip! - The tour was really good and well run by the guide. It was very organized and the pictures came out amazing. Every single place we stop, was very pretty and the guide gave history of each place visited. The experience was fascinating for me because it is my first trip to Colombia. The rock is high and you need to wear comfortable sneakers. The stair case is wide and narrow at times and you can top in between to catch your breathe. Once upstairs the view is amazing. It was quite impressive and the pictures you take are so much fun and full of color. The entire spot is nice and the food is very good. For my tour, I only wished the music included a variety of music but this was minor compared to the amazing experience of visiting Guatape. I will highly recommend it to any new visitors to Medellin.

really good tour - really good tour and well organised and well run and plenty of time to explore and climb the rock, food is terrible but you don’t take this tour for the food, view from top of rock is worth the 700 step climb

Tour Medellin, Colombia - Sercoltur amazing tourguide in Medellin! Did also the City tour Comuna 13 with them. They give you also a lot of time to walk on your self and see around! Was there in Sept 2019

Just an ok experience, look elsewhere - Day started off on the wrong foot... They picked us up 35 minutes late and didn't even had the courtesy to message us that they were running late.. I had to contact the tour guide twice before they responded. The included breakfast was not good at all, they didn't even provide coffee, just some lame tasting watered down hot chocolate... They took us to 2 souvenir places, they were ok, the places we visited were beautiful but I would def recommend you go with another agency, these guys just did not have their things in place. Also, I did notice that the tires on the bus were traveling on were beyond their recommended usage. They were very warned out, so much that on our way back to Medellin, a Tire Exploded and I attribute this to the operator not giving proper maintenance to the Buses tires. We wasted 2 hours waiting for help to arrive and at not point did the tour guide update us on what was going on... Very unprofessional. I would recommend going with another travel agency.

Good tour but poor food service - The tour and the places that you visit are perfect, the guide is friendly and try to cheer up all assistances.
Despite the fact that they arrived 20 minutes later than the agreed time to pick us up, I could see that the event was well organized in overall.
The service of breakfast and lunch (La Amistad restaurante) were not the best, they could improve. They were simple and low in flavor, like the chocolate in breaskfast and the aguapanela at the lunch.
The service personnel in the parador turistico, where we take breakfast, is not good.

Good overall, but no good english of the guide - We saw all the places that we wanted to see and everything that was described as included, was included. Unfortunately, the english of the guide was not the best.

Full of unnecessary stops and terrible food - It took one hour to collect everybody. The bus was fine. Breakfast was okay local food though not much. We stopped in some village at a statue, no idea why. Then at a replica town full of stalls then at a church all these stops were pretty unnecessary, at least for us. Time at the Piedra del Peno was enough. Lunch was horrible. We had 90 minutes for whole Guatape which was not enough at all. We would have rather spend the two hours we wasted at the first three stops at Guatape. On the way back we asked them to drop us off close to our hotel, instead we made a huge loop with two extra stops.
You are better off hiring a private driver with a car. It costs the same and you will have full controll over what to see and when.

Worst tour & team in Colombia - The worst tour I have taken in Colombia by far!
We booked to do the tour in Guatapé and this was our experience:
- 1 hour delay in departure time
- During the day they were cutting time from activities to compensate for the delay, which meant that we barely spent time in the town of Guatapé
- Lack of professionalism from our guide Jenny. Very superfluous and irrelevant explanations. In addition to not wanting to address complaints regarding changes in tour activities vs. agreed upon ones.
- Super massive, inauthentic tour. Little time to enjoy.
- They told us that there were only 2 pick-up/arrival points in Medellin (town and stadium), but on the way back we arrived 1:30 hours later since we made more than 6 stops to drop people off at hotels and those at the official points were fumios the last.
There are many tours to go to Guatapé, I would NOT recommend this one to anyone!!
