Social media paradise - Altamira is a must-see attraction. It is a park that features sculptures of hands, birds, and other objects and is located on a hill overlooking the city of Antigua, offering stunning views of the volcanoes and the valley. The park is a social media paradise, with plenty of photo ops and Instagram-worthy spots. You can climb on the hands, pose with the birds, or enjoy the scenery from different angles. The first hand you'll run into is the highest and offers the best view, but it is not for the faint-hearted, as it is very steep and narrow. If you prefer a more comfortable and safe option, there are more hands as you go on, and they are easier to access and still offer great views. The park is bigger than you would think, so plan to be there for some time, and explore all the corners and hidden gems. You'll have to pay and get a ticket before walking into the area, and the price is reasonable for the experience. One thing to note is that there are a LOT of stairs, so be prepared for a workout 💪

AMAZING!!! - Our tour guide, Jennifer, was informational, enthusiastic, and went above and beyond for us! Not only did she teach us and show us so much of Altamira and Hobbitenango she was so generous helping us take pictures, suggesting what to eat, etc. Her passion for tourism was evident from the moment we met her and it made the tour unforgettable. Truly the best tour guide I've ever had in any of the countries and tours I've been on! I miss Jennifer!!

Not as expected - The best part of the trip was the transportation. We had a private, very comfortable shuttle to and from Altamira.
