Archaeological Park and Ruins of Quirigua - We’ll arrive at the department of Izabal, our first stop will be at Quiriguá, a Mayan Caribbean site that dates back 400 years before Christ and was known for its big stelae with impressive carved glyphs and Mayan governors.
Castillo de San Felipe de Lara - Visit the riverside “San Felipe Castle” and enjoy the breeze of the Caribbean Lake. This castle was built in the middle of the 17th century during the Spanish colonial era. It served as a defense against pirates. You´ll enjoy this lovely castle.
Izabal - At the end of our day, we´ll take you to your hotel. Relax and get ready for day 2

Playa Blanca - After picking you up at your hotel we will take you on a lovely boat ride that will lead to the paradisiacal white-sand beach of Playa Blanca.
Start the day on the right foot, unwind, and enjoy the Caribbean.
Livingston - Continuing our boat ride we’ll arrive at Livingston where the local Garífuna culture is located. Be delighted by its authentic cuisine, music, dances, and colorful clothing. Enjoy the Caribbean party!
Our adventurous day ends here. Enjoy free time to wander around the town or go to the beach. Then, relax and prepare for day 3
Mayan Association and Natural Park
Ak’ Tenamit - This is a Mayan association that helps many children and young people to study. We will learn about the efforts of the association and about the local Mayan culture.
El Boqueron - Here we will enjoy a canoe ride through rock walls and lush greenery.
Guatemala City - Enjoy your way back to the City. You can either take a nap, appreciate the landscapes or just enjoy the road. We´ll take you safe and sound back to your hotel in Guatemala City.

We’ll visit the Caribbean area of Guatemala. Hidden in between Banana Plantations we’ll discover the great and imposing Archaeological site of Quiriguá, human heritage by Unesco, filled with its unique monuments and the amazing 10-meter-high Carved Mayan Stelae.
Moving east, we’ll arrive at Río Dulce. Visit what used to be a Pirate Fortress dated from the 1600s. Then, we’ll discover a different face of Guatemala: Livingston, with its unique Garífuna culture thanks to an Afro-descendant heritage, decorated with beautiful white sand beaches and natural pools.
On our way back and to finish our adventurous experience, we’ll visit a Mayan association that helps children and youth study, and finally, we´ll visit the Natural Park of El Boqueron for a peaceful canoe ride in between breathtaking rock walls.
