Guatemala City - Depart from hotels in either Guatemala City or Antigua Guatemala. During the journey from Guatemala to Copán, Honduras, enjoy the breathtaking views of Guatemalan landscapes, including the diverse nature, hills, mountains, and varying weather.

El Florido - We will pass through both Honduran and Guatemalan Customs, so please remember to bring a valid passport.

The Honduran Government requires a negative result from a COVID quick test. Ensure you have it with you. The fee for the Honduran entry will be covered by us.

Copan Ruinas - Explore the magnificent ancient Mayan city of Copán, often referred to by locals as the “Paris of Mayan architecture.” Stroll through the main plazas, admire the incredible monoliths, and uncover the wonders of this site.

Copan Department - After visiting the Archaeological Site of Copan Ruinas, comfortable rooms in a lovely hotel will be ready for us. Enjoy the hotel amenities, relax, and prepare for day two.

Visit to Quirigua Archaeological Site from Copan Ruinas

Copan Department - On the morning of the second day, enjoy a delicious breakfast. After checking out of the hotel, the road trip to Quirigua will take approximately 4 hours. Sit back and take in the beautiful scenery.

Archaeological Park and Ruins of Quirigua - Fall in love with Quiriguá, an archaeological site rich with centuries of Mayan history. This kingdom was a major commercial hub, utilizing Mayan routes that extended to Tikal. Be amazed by its stunning monoliths, approximately 3 meters tall.

Guatemala City - After exploring the remarkable kingdom of Quirigua, we will begin our return journey to the city. The trip will take 4 hours, offering more opportunities to appreciate the topography and beautiful landscapes along the way.
