At 9:00 am, the group will depart from the hotel to the heart of Guatemala City. The thrilling shopping adventure begins with a visit to the Central Market, situated behind the Metropolitan Cathedral. Here, visitors can explore a variety of traditional Guatemalan items such as textiles, leather goods, woodcrafts, silver, ceramics, and sheet metal, among others. Additionally, basic consumer goods like grains, vegetables, fruits, meats, and typical foods such as tostadas, enchiladas, chuchitos, and atoles are available for purchase. The tour will then proceed to one of the city’s most exclusive shopping centers: Oakland Mall, featuring modern stores, financial services, restaurants, and more.
Lunch is scheduled for 1 pm (at personal expense), and the guide can recommend dining options based on preferences.
Post-lunch, the tour continues to Paseo Cayalá, a prestigious complex offering boutiques, shops, restaurants, and activities like zip-lining and biking (not included), along with seasonal special events. Here, participants can continue shopping, enjoy a leisurely stroll, or savor a cup of coffee to conclude the exciting day.
The transfer back to the hotel in Guatemala City is scheduled for 4 pm.
