Fabulous experience - From start to finish, this tour was excellent. Transport there and back was punctual and comfortable. Nathaniel, our experienced guide was steeped in knowledge about Tikal, the culture and history, his passion for his work comes through clearly. He has a keen eye for wildlife and we saw a number of animals we'd not seen before. This is a highlight of our 3 week stay in Guatemala. Thank you to Nathaniel and Antonio, we highly recommend this tour.

Great Time - Melvin did an amazing job! Educated and very knowledgeable! Food was way better than I expected! Usually tour companies try to get cheaper food but honestly this food was delicious.

Immerse yourself in Tikal - The tour was very informative and well organized. We were able to observe animals and plants several times. On the way we were offered coffee and you could buy water etc.

Fantastic - An amazing day, Nate was full of great knowledge, was welcoming and very approachable for questions. He was very watchful of the group. We thoroughly enjoyed our day. The food was great, good portions and many options. As stated through our research, drivers and tourguides are usually given gratuities based on guest experience. We did witness a drop off where we did not witness a tip being given. That is sad considering how professional he was and the effort he put into our enjoyment. Would do this tours again with this company.

Fabulous Tikal trip - Nate and his driver picked us up from our hotel in Flores and from the beginning of the trip everything was excellent. A small group of us-10, a clean a/c van, a coffee stop on the way, hassle free entry to the park and an excellent lunch included with the option to buy a beer or wine at an additional cost. Nathaniel was superb. Kind, funny, knowledgeable, organised… thanks Nate! Tikal is an amazing site. Loved climbing up the temples…. Fabulous views and not too crowded this time of year. A trip well worth doing

Tikal, an unmissable enigmatic place. - We really enjoyed the tour with Nathanael, our guide. He always gave good explanations. Without a doubt, this is the most important attraction in Guatemala. Impossible to go to Guatemala without going to Tikal. Fortunately, the site is very well preserved and you will find not only the archaeological elements in magnificent condition, but also encounter very vibrant endemic fauna (monkeys, toucans). The food that includes the walk is fine (by lunchtime you are already very hungry). Although the morning is tired (the plane leaves at 6 am from Guatemala City) and the day is strenuous, it is well worth the effort. There’s not much to do on the island of Flores, but you can take the opportunity to walk it (it’s very small) and have an ice cream or a good beer. The company -TikalGo- has excellent customer service. Definitely the most recommended of all Guatemala.

Guide, Nate is great and experience was at a good pace & on time - We are glad that we did this tour BUT they went over the limit of people advertised and we were squeezed into the van. Nate spoke clearly with humor and clarity and was accommodating of everyone. The jungle trek was as advertised, 5 miles but he didn't race through it. We would have enjoyed more wildlife but hey, you can't produce that sort of thing. My lunch chicken leg was all bone and cake was too dry to eat so I was eating tortillas and bean dip to tie me over to dinner. You don't go here for a meal :) I think we made the right choice with this company & would recommend them.

My advice would be to: take a bug spray, wear layers (it gets cold in the morning) and take a flashlight or a headtorch. - I really wanted to give them 5 stars as we booked this (very expensive) tour hoping to have a 5-star experience. Unfortunately, our guide keep forgetting that not all of our group speaks Spanish (and this is our fault that we don’t but also one of the reasons we booked an English-speaking tour) so we couldn’t understand about half of what he was explaining - despite kind reminders. One person in our group was vegetarian and we notified the company about the vegetarian lunch box but that wasn’t accommodated. Aside from that, the sunrise is an amazing experience, when the guide spoke English you could tell he had a lot of knowledge and was very passionate about the topic. My advice would be to: take a bug spray, wear layers (it gets cold in the morning) and take a flashlight or a headtorch.
