We had a wonderful... - We had a wonderful experience on this tour! Orlando was on time to pick us up at our hotel and shared alot of information about the Mayan culture along the way. The sunrise tour was so worth it with a personal guide! We learned so much more than we ever would, if we traveled through Tikal on our own. The sunrise at the top was stunning and an adventure we'll never forget!

Wonderful private tour of Tikal by Tikal Go - We had a full private day tour of Tikal with Roel from Tikal Go. First we were picked up at the airport and after we rested a bit at their office in Flores, we went and toured Lake Peten Itza and continued the day with a stop and we toured Le Reserva Natural in lake Peten where we saw an array of animals that were rescued by this organization. It was fun and very informative visit. Then we went back to the boat and came back to Flores to get lunch. After lunch we were picked up, taken back to the office and waited for our driver Antonio to drive us to Tikal National Park where we spent the night at the Jungle Lodge. The next morning after breakfast, Roel came and met with us to start our tour of Tikal. Tikal was very impressive. Roel was the best tour guide we could have asked for. He was fun to be with, he was a world of knowledge and we walked at our own pace. We had the most beautiful day! In the early afternoon we stopped for lunch at the restaurant inside the park and the food was delicious! It was a complete meal including a beverage and dessert too. Alcohol was not included. I highly recommed Roel for anyone that is going to Tikal with TikalGo. He is amazing!

Strong recommendation - An amazing experience that began with a night hike and then climbed one of the temples in Tikal. To sit on the steps of a temple and wait until dawn and hear how the jungle and howler monkeys come to life. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and helped us not only to tell about the history of the ruins but also to photograph birds and animals. Strong recommendation.

Great Experience - Our tour guide, Elmar, was very knowledgeable about the Mayan History and very nice. This was an amazing experience and we would do it again. I highly recommend this tour. You can enjoy the sunrise with only a few other tourists.

Great guide made the visit to Tikal a day to remember. - Gelver, our guide was superb. So knowledgeable and patient.
The company were great reassuring us with messages the day before that all was arranged, revised pick up time, and what to bring.
Tikal itself is amazing but made all the more so by Gelver.
Really recommend Tikal VIP.

A mágico amanecer in Tikal! - Superb & memorable visit this morning of Tikal Park with Santiago de Tikalviptours & Maya expedition whose passion and enthusiasm for French and Guatemalan cultures are contagious!
I really recommend to make the visit alongside him - favoring the raising of the solei on a weekday - it is an enchantment in an otherwise magical place.

this is the tour you want! - We had a fantastic morning with Elmer. We booked a sunrise tour, and Elmer communicated with us early and often to ensure we had a meeting time, all the appropriate gear, and our necessary park tickets.
During the tour, Elmer made us feel safe and comfortable, being sure to point out tripping hazards and any animals to be aware of when we walking or taking a seat.
Most importantly, his passion and excitement for both Mayan history/culture and the animals and plants of the rainforest made for a fantastic experience. As a private tour, we got to go at our own pace, ask a million questions, and take routes/see areas less frequented by tourists.
His knowledge was incredible! Whether you want to know about local birds, medicinal
plants, or Mayan sports - this is your guy!

Amazing and unforgettable experience! - Amazing experience! Tikal VIP was efficient with communication and prepared us with a list of what to bring to the ruins. We were picked up from our hotel around 3:30am in a van with AC and a cooler full of water bottles. The driver was super nice and our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about Tikal national park. The hike up to the ruins was so surreal and the overlook was breathtaking. Even though it was cloudy in May we were able to see the ruins and we brought binoculars for birdwatching.
It was just my boyfriend and I on the tour so the guide tailored it to what we liked! He showed us a cool app that listens to the birds chirping and tells you exactly what type of birds are around you. We did get to see the sun peek out eventually and enjoyed the magic of the ruins in the morning. The timing of the tour is perfect because it was fresh in the morning and got so hot outside around 11ish when our tour was ending.
The breakfast was onsite and just a short walk away from the ruins. It was so perfect after a long hike with plenty of options and delicious fresh juice. Definitely worth waking up so early for this experience!!!

Tikal Sunrise tour - Our Guide Elmer met us at our hotel equipped with torch and bottled water - he walked with us at our pace pointing out interesting plants and wildlife with knowledge and passion. He talked us through the Mayan history and the impact the civilisation has had on the modern world.
Unfortunately a misty morning meant we did not see the actual sunrise, however Elmer knew it was just a matter of time until we could witness the sun and took us to climb a different temple to see the magnificence of the jungle with all it’s flora and fauna.
I highly recommend this tour and especially Elmer who brought it to life.

Best tour ever! - This was the most amazing tour! Our tour guide, Elmer, was so knowledgeable and took excellent care of us. He made our experience the best ever! I highly recommend this tour as it was very well planned, extremely professional and we didn’t have to worry about a thing except enjoying the amazing experience of Tikal.
