Ananuricastle was built in 1660-1676 by dukes of Aragvi.and it was the place of Aragvi dukes. Ananuri castle is witness of many fights,and you can see the traces of wars in this castle. Fortress conteins whith upper and lower castles,the upper castle is the mainc castle which is better kiped.and the lower castle is mostly ruined.
