Five days of Magic - Kayaking and Camping in a beautiful Swedish Archipelago - What a wonderful trip - five magic days of kayaking with glorious weather and five star camping with very comfortable tents, incredibly delicious food and the best guides ever - Thomas and Pablo who made everything relaxed, easy and fun. The scenery was spectacular, and we barely saw any other humans the whole trip - apart from our group! We were spoilt by glorious vistas, beautiful still mornings with the mist rising from the water and the most surreal glowing sunsets. It felt like stepping back into the most adventurous childhood - where you could paddle your kayak, with everything you needed and then choose your island and set up your tent with a beautiful view of the archipelago. The true test of any guided adventure is the Guide and Thomas and Pablo were superb, a brilliant combination of being relaxed, yet capable, funny but competent and also both so entertaining, knowledgeable and hospitable. We all loved listening to their stories and their passion for Sweden and the archipelago bubbles to the surface at all times. The kayaking was easy, aided by the very good weather and the last two nights were just magical with breathtaking sunsets that only improved with Pablo’s musical talent. I have memories from this trip that will stay with me forever and the icing on the cake was the spectacular display of the Northern Lights - totally unexpected but other worldly incredible. It was a dream trip and it’s made me want to do more in both Sweden 🇸🇪 and with these incredible guides. Pablo and Thomas - you are both truly rock stars! Thank you from a very grateful group - “Just Around the Corner”

Glorious Five Days Kayaking with the Best Guides! - We had a really wonderful time on the five day guided kayak and camping trip with Do the North. The scenery was stunning, the camping was top notch - having been on quite a few camping trips, the tents were first class and we slept so well. The food was brilliant- healthy, tasty and nutritious and the guides - Thomas and Pablo were amazing and really made the trip, with their stories, humour, hospitality and competence. I absolutely loved being totally immersed in nature for five days and it was wonderful to learn more about Sweden and the kayaking was never hard or difficult - though we did have good weather. The icing on the cake were the incredible sunsets - which seemed almost surreal at times and then we were treated to a spectacular view of the Northern Lights - just magical. It’s made me want to explore Sweden and the north more. Thank you Thomas and Pablo for a glorious trip - you are both total rock stars !

Exceeded all my expectations - Honestly this trip exceeded all my expectations ... and I was already expecting to love it! Our group seemed to hit it off from the moment we all introduced ourselves, and the conversation and laughter were already flowing before we'd even launched the first kayak. Our guides, Thomas and Pablo, were totally awesome - fun, friendly, welcoming, relaxed, full of information about the archipelago (plus all sorts of adventures further afield) and endless stories! They somehow made everything run insanely smoothly while also always feeling spontaneous and laid back, and our every need was provided for (and then some). I'll never erase the image of Pablo sitting cross-legged on the rocks, his flute echoing across the water into an exquisite sunset, or the "sexomophone" 😅drifting through the woods at our crayfish party. The scenery was stunning (literally just one perfect island after another) and we were blessed with incredible weather; mirror-calm seas, tons of sunshine, mild temperatures, misty mornings, lighting storms, atmospheric rain showers ... and the crowning jewel: a totally unexpected display of northern lights - bonus bucket list item checked off!! We ate sooooo much amazing food (do NOT expect to diet on this trip 🤣) and I genuinely didn't want it to end. Wish I was back there right now. I think it probably speaks volumes that at least half of us are already plotting to return for the winter trip! Thank you all so much. Bestest last minute adventure decision in years.

Kayaking - Fantastic trip in a group of 8 with 2 guides Thomas and Pablo. We all mucked in cooking every day with the ever helpful Pablo. Kayaking and weather was spot on and the “fika” at the end of the day with 10 mates was great. Big shout out to our 2 guides Thomas and Pablo who organised everything

Kayaking - Dreamlike landscape - Great people - The tour is really great! I wanted to do a kayak hike for several days and then came across Do the North here, as this can be logistically more difficult. The archipelago is really just as beautiful as in the photos and the Baltic Sea in the archipelago is more like a big lake. Kayaking had the right level of effort and the route was adapted to the weather by guides Pablo and Thomas. What surprised me most positively was the good mood in our group. We were a mixed group of 8 people plus guides from 8 countries from early 20s to late 50s and it was super harmonious and easy going. It didn't matter that it just rained two nights. The trip was really well organized, starting from the good material, planning the route, to the great food, which was really good and cooked together according to the prepared recipes (so no canned ravioli every day). If you like outdoor and active holidays, this is definitely the right thing for you.

Pure peace and relaxation in nature - The kayak tour through the archipelago was the highlight of my tour of Sweden! Although I had neither kayaking nor outdoor experience, I could enjoy every minute thanks to the excellent organization of our guide Katha. Tour selection, equipment, food (with Fika☺️) - everything perfect. Simply pure nature with peace and relaxation, always happy.

A mega beautiful experience - What a wonderful experience to paddle in a kayak through the 6000 island in the St Anna Archipelago, with a super guide who took care of everything. We had the best material on kayaks, tents, sleeping bags. Everything was perfectly prepared for drinks, food and up to toilet paper. As a 61-year-old I started a bit worried, but I was given very good briefings, everything was shown and explained and before long, I could enjoy paddling in the beautiful nature so much. Sitting on the rock watching the sunset in the evening - just fantastic. Do the North and their guides ( multilingual) were absolutely worth their money. Highly recommended......

Amazing holiday, exceeds any expectations - I approached DoTheNorth following recommendation by a friend and I was glad I had a last-minute opportunity for a brief holiday this summer. I was interested in meeting new people and trying something new but I didn't really have time to plan anything myself. The Solo Traveller Kayaking trip was exactly what I had been looking for, without knowing :) From the beginning everything was smooth, easy and friendly, starting from the easy-to-use website with clear instructions, through communicating with Helena about the trip, and finally... meeting our AMAZING guides LINDA and PHILL. I had never come close to a kayak before; my experience with wild camping was extremely limited at best, but from the get-go Linda and Phill made each one of us comfortable and confident, treating us to delicious meals, unforgettable sunsets, and heart-warming experiences. As a side perk, following all of the useful pieces of advice and feedback received during this trip, I am now comfortable with the idea of kayaking on my own. In just 5 days, our diverse group of solo travellers formed a strong connection and we were all sad on the last day, but will happily keep in touch with each other as well as with Linda and Phill in the future. I wholeheartedly recommend these two guides, as well as this company, whatever your idea of a vacation is. You can't be disappointed.
