Fun, varied & great e-bike experience - A really positive experience despite the weather! Booking was simple via what’s app & the shop was easily found. We had Nelson as our driver & Marcos as our guide. The ride was altered to try and make the most of the weather. We had varied tracks, forests, trails & some single tracks plus a great downhill on road to the beach at the end. A stop at a local bar/restaurant was very welcome & gave us a chance to taste some local drinks/food. I am not as confident on my bike as my husband but Marcos chose a good route so my husband could go faster & enjoy the thrills whilst I could enjoy the scenery & stay intact. I think Marcos knew every rock, root & bend on the route. I felt very safe with him. An excellent ride & probably even better in the sunshine. Thank you.

Go for it! Great experience ! - We strongly recommend E-bike Madeira. We booked the e-enduro tour with them and had an amazing day in the Poiso area. Marcos as our guide and Nelson as our driver were a great team. Marcos was able to exactly assess our level and brought us to the trails that were just perfect for our level (blue and light red). Challenging but still feasible. We were so lucky to be just the 2 of us and it was never a question to cancel so we had like a private tour. For lunch, they brought us to a super local place where the host Maria was very nice and showed us all the meals to help us select. The price for lunch was super cheap, while the food was tasty. Lunch was a great opportunity to hear some local tips on things to do and restaurants from Marcos and Nelson and we tried them and this was all super worth it! During the ride, Marcos was super caring, regularly asking how we were feeling and also giving technical tips to improve and advice on how to pass obstacles. We rode a lot during the day and were so happy about the experience that we are now going for another day :-) Overall great experience so don't hesitate to book this, you won't be disappointed. They can guide you to the right experience based on your level so that it fits as the Madeira trails are offering possibilities for all levels (it was very easy to book via email for the first day and Sergio was very responsive. For our next improvised additional day, Sergio was very responsive on whatsapp and was able to offer options fitting with our time table and preference.

Super tours and bike providers - We have booked 3 tours with e-bike Madeira. All tours were super organized. Nice contact in the store and our tour guides Marcus and Marco supervised us and led us to cool trails. They also adapt themselves to each guest so that everyone gets their money's worth. Depending on your skill level, the tour will be adapted. We will book our tours through E-Bike Madeira again at any time. They also have a good e-bike fleet with enough battery power. 👍🏻

Wonderful Experience!! - We did an eMountain Bike tour of the local mountains with Marcos and Nelson, and thoroughly enjoyed it! They picked us up at our hotel and drove us to the starting point way up in the hills. The van is new and comfortable. The Cannondale eMountain bikes are in great condition with a powerful motor and a long lasting battery. Marcos is an excellent leader and understood the capabilities of our group which influenced his choice of trails to take us on. We saw some amazing views and rode on a few Levada trails in the forest. Nelson drove the van and met us at various checkpoints to ensure we were all good. They are the nicest guys! We stopped for lunch at this wonderful cafe with authentic Portuguese food. There’s no set menu. You get what they made that day. Fantastic food! We highly recommend them for eMountain biking! You’ll love it!

Excellent value, stunning scenery and glorious fun. Happy to repeat the entire day. - Booking process via messages with Paolo was so easy and highly efficient (even last minute) and we were only asked to pay at the end of the tour. Our supreme guide, Marco, was extremely pleasant, entertaining and deeply knowledgeable - not only of trails options but also aspects about the island. He led us along a mixed 40km route consisting of on-road and off-road surfaces, which suited our capabilities and confidence. This included lush levada routeways, prairies, public paths and quiet [almost vacant] roads. The quality of e-bikes was superb and comfortably easy to control/balance. No hard exercise was required - eBikes effectively remove all the hills! Along the route, Marco took >80 photos/videos and transferred those to us as a glorious memento without charge. We would have been happy to repeat the entire day. Excellent value, stunning scenery and glorious fun! Humble Scots express our deep thanks.

Highly recommended e-bike tour - Great experience. Bikes were well prepared and fun to ride. Route was varied and with beautiful views. Guide was highly experienced and took a lot of care to keep everyone safe whilst giving us a great time.

disappointment - Too few mountains and "single tracks", too many regular asphalt roads. We were given electric bikes but we were practically going downhill all the time. Not very varied route. Very low level of difficulty - it looks like I made the wrong choice but I couldn't find enough information in the description of this event. Too many breaks - something that was supposed to last 6 hours can be done in 3 hours.

Scammers - I booked a mtb experience that should have been 30-40km until 3-4pm. The itinerary began with a Levada walk and continue until their shop in Funchal. But we took a small walk 20km and they said it’s done. When I asked them that i paid for another itinerary they changed the description from the listing. So I don’t recommend them!
