• Yangshuo County - The guide will meet you in your hotel lobby around 09:00 AM. You will then be taken to the renowned Longji Rice Terraces, which is approximately a 150-minute drive away.
• Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces - After a two-hour journey, you will arrive at the entrance to the Longji Terraces. Your first stop will be Ping’an Village, known for its stunning and famous rice terraces, located about a 30-minute drive from the ticket office. The Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces is a magnificent agricultural marvel with a history spanning over 650 years. The most striking section is the Ping’an Village Rice Terrace, the first to be discovered by tourists and photographers. The terraces are formed by narrow rice fields carved along the hillsides, connected by winding flagstone paths. Viewing platforms are available for visitors to admire the layered terrace fields. While visiting, you can also experience the traditional lifestyle of the Zhuang minority people. It’s fascinating to assist them in the fields, try on their vibrant ethnic costumes, and explore their distinctive stilted houses.
• Ping’an Village - Upon arrival, you will embark on a moderate trek along steps to Ping’an Zhuang Village. The walk takes about 40 minutes, allowing you to explore the village and observe the unique wooden stilted houses of the local Zhuang people. Lunch can be enjoyed in the village.

After a brief lunch break, continue exploring the terraces to the No.2 Viewing Platform (Seven Stars with the Moon), a 15-minute walk, offering a fantastic bird’s-eye view of the Longji Terraces below. You will have ample time to take photos and enjoy the fresh air at the platform. Next, proceed to the No.1 Viewing Platform (Nine Dragons and Five Tigers), which is a 30-minute walk along a flat path.

• Longji Mountain - After lunch at Ping’an Village, embark on a hike from Ping’an Village to the Old Zhuang Village, a 1.5-hour trek covering approximately 5 km.

Longji Ancient Zhuang Village Rice Terraces, also known as Longji Ancient Zhuang Village (Longji Gu Zhuang Village), is the origin of the Longji Rice Terraces. This well-preserved village boasts most of the cultural relics of the Longji Area, including centuries-old stilt-style wooden houses, stone slab bridges, and the Zhuang Ecological Museum.

• Yangshuo County - Finally, your driver will meet you at the Old Zhuang Village parking lot and drive you back to your hotel in Yangshuo/Guilin or to the Guilin airport.
