Grazie Tom! - This review is dedicated to Tom Wu, Guilin guide who was assigned to us by Travel China Guide for the last day of our tour around Guilin. Tom was a very attentive guide, on a day made complicated by bad weather, Tom made sure that everything proceeded in the best way and given our difficulty with the language, he accompanied us to the waiting room of the station helping us with our luggage.

Unknown land of beauty // Guangxi - This was our first experience with Odinovo travel agency. They specialize in small group or family individual travel. The experience was overall superior in spite of the fact that we demanded higher standard accommodations and transportation, which are not easy to find, they are scarce in small towns. The quality of hotels in Guilin (where they are based) and other smaller places was superior. Guanchzou is more business town and hotel was Crowne Plaza conventional business hotel, a bit worn down. Not liked it. I admit the ignorant about the region and conventional sites here. Mola Xiao had put together a program that appears to be a good fit to our preferences and interests. Travel documents, particularly for Chinese trains, the prepared as early as possible, and getting around the train where no one understands English. Getting to platform at the train station, boarding the train registration - all of these things are not immediately apparent to a visitor.

Friendly and Knowledgeable - We had an amazing experience with Booking through Tour China Guide. Our tour guide, Kathy, and driver were amazing. We had an elderly member in our group and they were very patience and caring towards her. Our guide and driver are locals so they were very knowledgeable about the area and shared a lot about the local culture and food. Our tour guide also took picture and videos of our trip

2-days Guilin private tour: Li River, Longji rice terrace - The best private tour experience I had so far travelling in China! Tour guide, QiuyanLi, was doing all possible to make my short 2-days trip full of new experiences and emotions! She shared a lot of interesting facts about the region, local culture and traditions of minorities, even helped to communciate with them. I really enjoyed Li River cruise and QiuyanLi helped me to capture best moments including famous '20 yuan' photo. I would also highly recommend everyone to visit Longji rice terrace. For me, as foreigner it was first time to see rice terrace and I was really impressed. QiuyanLi gave me a lesson on how to grow rice and build rice field, now feel myself almost an expert :).

Arthur was outsanding - very well organised and truly enthusiastic about everything. Would definitely do this again!

Lovely scenery and interesting culture - We had a private tour for four adults to cruise Guilin's Li River and visit the rice terraces at Longji. Since our trip was, of necessity, during the May 4th National Holiday it was very nice to have all of the arrangements made by the Travel China Guide service. On the first day, the Li River cruise, our guide, Lee, helped us to navigate through the entrance area, which was crowded and confusing to get to our boat for the Li River cruise and also through the town of Yangshuo where the boats dock, which was crowded and had a circuitous layout. She took us to a smaller village outside of Yangshuo to see the countryside, a place we wouldn't even have known to look for. On the second day she offered us a choice of three locations where we could see the rice terraces. Because of the inclement weather we chose Gu Zhuang Zhai village, which had paths that were less steep and was less commercialized than the other two choices. Lee took us to a locally run restaurant which served local specialties. We very much enjoyed the meal. Both the Li River cruise and the Longji rice terraces are well worth seeing and having a guide makes the trip less stressful. Tips: 1) If you have flexibility with dates Longshuo would be much more pleasant when it is not a holiday. 2) May is the rainy season which reduces visibility both on the river and at the rice terraces.
