Visiting Longsheng Rice Terrace in Guilin requires a full day. Located north of Guilin, the area is inhabited by the Zhuang and Yao minorities (known for their long-haired women). They reside in traditional wooden houses, speak their own dialect, and practice hand farming. During the tour, your guide will explain their lifestyle, rice cultivation methods, and the history of the terraces.

Meeting time: The guide will meet you around 8:30-9:00 am (or as arranged). The drive to the rice terraces takes about 3 hours. Along the way, you will interact with the Zhuang and Yao people (long-haired women) and observe local architecture in Pingan Lonsheng, learning about their traditions. The guide will accompany you on a trek to the famous Longji Rice Terraces viewpoint from the village, where you can admire the panoramic view. The terraces look like great chains of ribbons winding from the hill’s base to its peak. It is one of China’s most scenic natural wonders!
