The Longsheng Hot Spring Resort Area, recognized and later named a provincial tourism resort by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is nestled in the mountains, roughly 85 miles (137 kilometers) away from downtown Guilin. It is enveloped by a vast 5 square kilometer forest and boasts an ancient Cambrian geological make-up. The key hot springs flow originates from the Baiyaling Cliff Ridge to Swan Boundary Fault Zone, encompassing dozens of kilometers. The spring water effuses from a depth of 394 feet (1,200 meters) below the surface, maintaining a temperature ranging from 113 to 136.4 Degrees Fahrenheit (45 ℃ - 58 ℃). The beneficial lithium, strontium, iron, zinc, copper, among other trace elements vital to human health, can be found in the spring water. Included in this tour package is a visit to the Longji Rice Terraces and Long Hair Village.
