- Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces - Your driver guide picks you up at the lobby of your hotel at 9:00 am. After a two-hour ride will get to Longji parking lot where we can buy the entry tickets to the Longji Rice Terraces, you can take a break for about 10 minutes here. Heading to Longji Pingan Rice Terraces, this rice terraces is the most famous and beautiful one which is earliest discovered by tourists and photographers, we can walk up from Pingan parking lot to No. 2 viewing platform through Pingan zhuang village by stone stairs, you can see the Zhuang people’s daily life as well as wooden stilted houses in the village. When you get to No. 2 viewing platform, it looks like seven stars with the moon. Then another walk to No. 1 viewing platform through flat path. On the way you can see the bamboo groves, rice terraces, mountains, etc. When you arrive at the No.1 viewing platform, you will have panoramic view of Longji rice terraces. Then walk downstairs to the Parking lot. Admission: 80 Yuan per pre person. - Ping’an Village - Drive to Huangluo village, Located at the foot of a mountain with a beautiful river, this village is home to the Red Yao people, a branch of the Yao ethnic minority, is renowned for the lady with long hair, even 7 feet long, discovery this village, you can find the local women embroider dresses, wooden houses, Yao longhair ladies, etc. Then we can have lunch in this village, you can try to taste the sticky bamboo rice, bamboo chicken, smoke pork with bamboo shoots, etc. After a nice day tour in Longji Rice Terraces , you will be transferred back to your hotel in Guilin for about 2 hours and you just take a nap and relax on the way back to Guilin. You will be back to your Guilin hotel at about 6:00 pm. Notes: If you book this tour on National Holiday ( from Oct 1st to 6th) Extra RMB 150 Yuan per person.

Great tour - stunning scenery! - Longji was truly stunning and this tour was both covenient and well organised. My guide was a true pleasure and even offered to take me to the airport that evening. Highly recommended.

Great Experience! - I booked two tours with Leo, the Li River Day Tour and the trip to the Longji Rice terraces. Both were great, I saw and learned a lot, Leo took his time to explain and everything was very well organized. Definitely recommending it!

GREAT Experience! - We went with our 10 year old son, and a couple friends of us. This was an AMAZING tour. GREAT views of the rice fields, and we are fresh delicious local fruits. We also ate at a wonderful place that the tour guide took us to, where we ate food that was cooked inside bamboo. It was like nothing that we've eaten before. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and was very kind with us. He even went the extra mile, and found a place with a regular toilet, even though we were in a rural area, and it was not the local custom.

Amazing tour - Leo the guide went out of his way to provide an excellent tour with lots of individual stops to accommodate my preferences. We even stopped at a tea plantation on the way back, which was a great extra after the breathtaking rice fields.

Unforgettable Golden Rice Terraces and Exceptional Guide – A Must-Do in Guilin! - I just had the most amazing experience on the “One Day Private Longji Rice Terraces with Minority Village Tour” in Guilin, China. Visiting in October, the rice terraces were breathtakingly beautiful, with golden fields stretching across the hills like waves of gold. The views were truly mesmerizing!
Our guide, SanDi, made the experience even more exceptional. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to share rich insights about the local culture and history. His expertise and personal touch really brought the tour to life. The entire day was well-organized, with plenty of opportunities to explore and take in the stunning scenery.
If you’re visiting Guilin, this tour is an absolute must. The beauty of the terraces, combined with SanDi’s excellent service, made it an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend!

Nice experience - It was very beautiful. Be careful because you must walk a lot. For lunch, the tour guide gives you 60yuan to choose what you want to eat. Long ride in the car

Beautiful - Eric was a great guide - really friendly and gave us loads of information about the rice terraces. He even gave us special monk fruit at the end of our tour to make tea with, and told us how to do it. He was very flexible and allowed us to shape the tour as we wanted, and communicated with people for us when we wanted to buy things or ask questions. The terraces were beautiful, but would have been difficult to navigate transport-wise if we were by ourselves, so the door-to-door transport made the day easier. Eric showed us the best spots for views and tailored the day to include our preference for hiking and for seeing a museum. We had a great time and recommend Eric as a lovely guide to have for the day.

Rice Terraces as in my imagination - lLao drove and walked with us all day telling us about the rice terraces, the crops in the area and with many interesting anecdotes about Chinese customs in general. We were lucky with the weather too, the terraces were just as we expected and Liao guided us on the less traveled paths, ending the tour eating rice and meat cooked in bamboo overlooking the rice terraces. Recommended.

We spontaneously booked... - We spontaneously booked this tour, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. Our tour guide, Billy, was incredibly enthusiastic and motivated, making the day even more enjoyable. He invited us to witness a captivating performance by the long-haired ethnic minority, visit a tea plantation, and, of course, explore the stunning rice fields. Billy's knowledge and passion truly enhanced the experience, and we had a wonderful day thanks to him.

Great day, excellent tour guide! - It was a great day with Li as our tour guide! He did an excellent job explaining our surroundings, but also telling about the culture and life in the village and city. The mountains are beautiful and the stop in the village was worth it. Definitely recommend!
