Reboard the vehicle and travel west to the northern Gobi region. En route, enjoy a brief stop at Khar Bukhiin Balgas, fascinating remnants of an ancient fort used by nomadic tribes from the 10th century. Continue to Gurvanbulag, where you will stay in a guest ger with a nomadic family. Experience the warm hospitality and traditional nomadic lifestyle by participating in making and drinking milk tea, and sampling homemade products like yogurt and dried curds. In the afternoon, enjoy an hour of horse riding in the nearby hills and sand dunes, or opt for a walk if preferred. In the evening, savor a home-cooked dinner.

ELSEN TASARKHAI DUNE - ERDENEKHAMBA TEMPLE - CAMEL RIDE
Elsen Tasarkhai - Today, head to the Khogno Khan nature reserve, where you can explore the lower temple complex of Uvgun Khiid, see the reconstructed temples, prayer-wheel, and examine the ruins. A 45-minute hike to the old ruined temple complex in the hills is recommended for its stunning scenery and, depending on the season, abundant wildflowers. Descend to the valley floor and proceed to the Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes, a 30-minute drive away. Tonight, stay with a family of camel herders, settle into your gers, and embark on a Bactrian camel ride across the dunes for an hour, followed by a home-cooked dinner.
WILD LIFE TRACK - ‘TAKHI’ WILD HORSES
Hustai National Park - After a relaxed breakfast, embark on the journey back east to Hustai. Arrive at your ger camp in time for lunch. The camp is situated at the entrance to Hustai National Park, allowing some time to rest before exploring the park. In the afternoon, drive from your camp to observe the Takhi horses, as they gather to drink at streams, offering a better chance to see them up close in remote areas. Consider combining the trip with a long walk in the park, in which case, depart a bit earlier. Discuss your preferences with your guide. Return to camp for dinner and your final night in a ger.
