Outstanding walk of the Kamakhya complex and more - The walking tour of the Kamakhya hill went beyond the beaten path - while we did a detailed walk of the temple itself, the point that the temple is part of a larger ecosystem of shrines, that have grown organically was brought out by Prasenjit in his walk. It was extremely insightful and encompassed history, mythology, legends and more. Would recommend it to everyone interested in the Kamakhya complex.

Kamakhya Heritage Walk - I had the incredible opportunity to join the Kamakhya Heritage Walk guided by Prasenjit, and it was truly an enriching experience! Prasenjit's depth of knowledge and passion for the history, mythology, and beliefs surrounding Maa Kamakhya were awe-inspiring. He beautifully explained the Tantric philosophy, Dasha Mahavidya, and the intricate connections between Assamese culture and its spiritual heritage.
His storytelling made the ancient tales come alive, and his insights into the cultural and religious significance of the site were invaluable. Prasenjit’s engaging narrative and thoughtful explanations left me with a profound appreciation for the sacredness of Kamakhya and its enduring legacy. Highly recommended!

Best way to see and understand Kamakhya temple - This was the best way we could have visited Kamakhya temple as it feels a bit overwhelming on your own. Prasenjit is very knowledgeable about the temple and has a very approachable and friendly style. He adjusted the tour per our asks almost at run time and looked out for our comfort. He knows his way around the temple quite well and that helps you have a meaningful experience as Kamakhya isn’t like just another temple. I’d recommend this.

Great tour for curious seekers - Walking tour was amazing. Prasenjit was our guide and he really knew his stuff and helped us have darshan of the Mahavidya temples. Also, he told us many unknown stories about the ancient stories of Nilachal Hill.
Great Experience. I would recommend it for anyone who hasn’t been to Maa Kamakhya temple before.

Hire a guide to benifit most out of the Visit - Mr. Prasenjit has good knowledge about the history of the temple, iconography of the dieties (Dasamaha Vidya including Maa Kamakhya) & various temples located on the Nilachala Hill and glad that he shared his knowledge with me.
He also ran me through the places of importance like where Sadhus meditate during Ambu Bachi mela, personal places of original temple priests where they perform tantric practices etc.
Overall it was very insightful walk.
I recommend someone to learn these details from before going for darshan in Maa Kamakhya temple so that the can benifit maximum out of their visit to Nilachala hill.

A unique experience at a unique temple - I had an amazing experience with Prasenjit. I was not sure of the time available for me to visit Maa Kamakhya Temple during a Business visit to Guwahati. On a whim I connected with Prasenjit through TripAdvisor, after reading the previous reviews. And I was not disappointed.
He helped to secure a VIP darshan pass for me through his acquaintance at the very last minute. I had a hassle free darshan at the temple.
We connected again for the 2 hr Maa Kamakhya Temple Heritage walk. Having already been to the temple, I was curious to experience this. This walk takes you to the nooks and crannies of the Temple Complex, many of which others may not be aware of. From the various Das Mahavidya (except for Maa Bhubaneswari and Maa Bhairavi) Temples, to the Sadhu Akhada and the temple of the Chief Priest, Prasenjit covers everything. His story telling style will keep you engrossed and he has well researched his material.
Prasenjit was kind enough to give me a small token as a parting gift and I thought it was a very thoughtful gesture. If you can spare the time, please dont miss this Heritage walk at one of the most unique temples in India.
I whole heartedly recommend Prasenjit for this walking tour. He also has a tour company called Six Degree Adventures and considering my experience with him, he will be my first choice for any future trips to the North East.

Don't miss out on the full story of the Kamakhya Complex - I have to thank Prasanjit for introducing me to a side of Guwahati I knew nothing of, the fascinating history and mythology surrounding not just the Kamakhya Temple but the other 9 Shakti Devi temples that surround the main temple. I think visitors get so fixated on the main temple's inner sanctum, they spend hours in a queue that seems to go on forever, they forget the importance of all the other goddesses. I highly recommend joining Prasanjit's very illuminating and intersting walk, that gives you a proper oversight of the significance of the whole area. I also jave to thank him for taking me to the very intersting village of Mayur, and the small village museum which is dedicated to the bez (magic) men and women of the village. Well worth it .

Very resourceful, very helpful - We had planned a private walk with Prasenjit and team. It just so happened that the only time we had in Guwahati we had allocated for the walk, as we'd heard good things.
Our luck, we couldn't go during the time, it was raining all day. Instead we approached Prasenjit if he could help us with our Kamakhya temple visit, and he connected us with a senior well renounced panda who very swiftly helped us with the Pooja procedures, we did not have to wait in the line for much time.
Prasenjit our walk remains due, will catch up on our next visit.
