The mountain 🏔️ - Absolutely beautiful walking this mountain, it has very hard routes and a couple of beginners routes, children and people finding it difficult can always take the gorgeous old fashioned train 🚂 we did the Walkin challenge with landscape and waterfalls on the way.

Fantastic Experience - Climbing Mount Snowdon is quite arduous even via the Llanberis route, but it is definitely achievable if you are reasonably fit. Some parts are extremely steep but it eventually evens out. The last bit to the summit is quite steep and has steps and lots of loose stones. It gets quite crowded with some people trying to come up and others down! Everyone is friendly en route and there is a lovely atmosphere. There are plenty of rocks to have a rest on. Sheep are plentiful too. Reaching the summit is absolutely fantastic as the views are stunning. If the weather is ok the views and colours are simply incredible and worth every moment of the climb. The cafe at the top is always crowded but you can buy hot drinks and sandwiches etc. 100% worth doing for the experience and the memorable photo opportunities.

Bubble gum clouds - Had the most amazing climb with Tom our guide, really easy to get on with, had a laugh and gave us motivation when the going got a bit tougher. Was filled with lots of facts up and down and he took plenty of pictures, sent later to us. My 2 kids enjoyed it throughly especially reaching the summit. We even dipped our feet in the lake afterwards. Mixed weather going up but cleared once up top. My boy got his wish of tasting clouds( apparently bubble gum candy floss was the conclusion lol). Would so recommend Tom and his colleagues we done whole trip in 5.5 hours, with half hour in cafe.

BRILLIANT - Andy is a very knowledgeable, friendly guy. He took our party of 6 up the rangers path and descended along the cliff edge for dramatic, beautiful vistas. We have already recommended this tour and Andy personally to our friends.

Strenuous, but not difficult! - Strenuous, not too tough 862985981 We hiked to the top using the car park at Llanberis as a base. From here, it is pretty much a straight climb - initially on a tarred road, and then, through the rough mountain trails. At one point, roughly half-way to the top, there is a lovely little cafe that serves - you guessed it - coffee, soup, and some snacks; after that, the climb does become a little strenuous as we climb on cobblestones at a slightly steeper angle. Once past that, I chose to climb the rest of the way by following the tracks of the mountain railway all the way to the top. Nearer the top, it became chilly and a little windy too. On the way down, I chose a little easier path by simply following the railway track to the point just before the cafe comes up; here on, I stepped gingerly down the grassy hill to join the original trail and descended all the way to the bottom. The road up has many other alternatives - and it can take up to 2.5-4 hours depending on one's fitness levels. The path down takes a shorter time, naturally. However, be prepared for hurting toes - something I had - because although I was wearing a fairly good pair of hiking shoes, I have to choose still better footwear for the next attempt!

Great people and even greater memories - Amazing guided walk with Andrew. It was my first time up the mountain and I am a solo traveller so was a bit nervous doing it on my own. I am so glad I decided to go with the guided tour. Met great people and made even greater memories.

Nice walk - Good walk for which a guide is not necessary. His presence was however friendly and on the way back we left the marked path.

Nice walk - Very nice walk, doable without a guide. You still need a minimum of physical condition because it goes up quite a bit. The guide was very friendly, and we took an unmarked path on the way back to avoid taking the same path as on the way out. Be careful, it's cold at the top!
