Gyeongju for a day - It is a very beautiful and historical town/city. The history and the views were great. Highly recommend going doing fron the middle of spring so the flowers are in bloom and trees and greenery are back. It would be spectacular. We had a private tour with Irene and our own transporation and van which made it nicely paced and bery comfortable experience. Irene also took family photos for us and was very obliging with what we wanted for our tour. Highly recommend.

Very good tour - Irene took us to Haedong yunggusa temple, haeundae blue sky capsule train, gwanganli beach and oryukdo skywalk. All were very interesting. But the best part of our outing with Irene was the lunch. She took us to this seaside restaurant where they served abalone, clams, conch, shrimp - all cooked expertly by the waitresses. Delicious and oh so fresh! And, inexpensive for what we ate. Only issue I had with Irene is her confidence level when speaking English. Often questions I had for her were not answered or she did not seem to understand me. She told us she taught English, but I believe her confidence level is low in speaking English. So, while this is not a 5 star review, please note that is really is a 4.5 review.
