Highlights

Ha Giang - Tam Som - Yen Minh - Dong Van

Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - * Ha Giang City – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van town (135km)

8:00am: Enjoy breakfast at the hostel.

8:30am: Meet the guide and begin the loop tour.

  • Highlights of the day:

  • Bac Sun Pass

  • Quan Ba Heaven Gate

  • Quan Ba Twin Mountains

  • Can Ty Pass

  • Lunch break in Yen Minh town

  • Tham Ma Pass

  • The Hmong King’s Palace

5:00pm: Check in at a homestay/hotel in Dong Van town.

7:30pm: Dinner in Dong Van town, followed by a leisurely walk around the ancient town.

Dong Van - Meo Vac - Du Gia

Ma Pi Leng Pass - Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Du Gia village (90km)

  • 8:30am: Breakfast in town with mountain views (visit the largest local market in Dong Van if it’s Sunday).

  • 9:00am: Head towards the stunning Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of Vietnam’s four most beautiful passes.

  • 10:30am: Short hike on the Sky Pass for 1.5 hours, offering views of the Chinese mountains.

  • 12:00pm: Stop at the top of Ma Pi Leng Pass to see Nho Que River and Tu San Canyon, the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia.

  • 1:15pm: Lunch break in Meo Vac town.

  • 2:30pm - 5:00pm: Continue to Du Gia village, stopping at Sa Li Pass to view the Dao village and rice terraces from above.

  • 5:00pm: Arrive at the village, check in at a Tay people’s homestay, enjoy a family dinner, and relax with some happy water.

Du Gia - Lung Tam - Ha Giang

Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - Du Gia village - Ha Giang city (120km)

  • 8:30am: Breakfast with views of the rice fields.

  • 9:00-10:30am: Travel back to Ha Giang, passing through Hmong villages.

  • 11:30am: Arrive at Lung Tam village to learn about Hmong hemp weaving.

  • 1:30pm: Lunch break in Tam Son town.

  • 2:30 - 4:30pm: Drive 45km back to Ha Giang city, stopping at the city viewpoint for a panoramic view (enjoy a final beer with the team).

  • 5:30pm: Conclude the tour at the hotel.

Amazing and beautiful road trip - The best three days spent in Vietnam with the most lovely riders. The company is very well organised and they think of everything. The scenery and swimming was amazing. The riders are experts and take care of you along the way. Highly recommend using Hagiang Road Trip. Zen my driver was lovely and a very experience rider.

BEST TRIP EVER - Our Trip was guided by the Easy Rider Lemonthai. He was always very caring and professional, we enjoyed the good and friendly atmosphere from him and his college a lot. He always explained us what we needed to know and gave us the chance to make a break when we needed one. Furthermore the Easy riders drove very carefully and we always felt very safe. Even after the trip the staff gave us the chance to take a shower cause afterwards we traveled by Bus to another place. We can highly recommand making the Tour with this company cause we truly enjoyed the expierence. Thank you for the nice time and keep up the good work. Julia and Kyrill

A phenomenal part of the world to see - Had a great time on the Ha Giang loop. LemonThai our guide was very conscientious and professional throughout and all riders drove safely, despite the poor condition of some of the roads. Managed to have a bit of craic also with karaoke in a random coffee shop on top of a mountain in the middle of of a cloud! Was rainy season so very changeable weather and no views at times due to the cloud but when it cleared up it was majestic! Hands down the best driving route I have ever experienced in Vietnam. Accommodation not the most luxurious as you would expect but we had an en suite and air conditioning in our room both nights (I travelled with my wife), and food was decent. Overall would definitely recommend!

Best Ha Giang Loop tour - Great Ha Giang loop Tour Me and 2 off my friends did the 3 days Ha Giang loop, my 2 friends did the easy riders and me doing the self driving ( you need to have international driving permit or vietnamese bike license ) to drive, the landscape on the loop very beautiful the food and accommodations on the tour very nice, good foods. Guide Dinh and the team very nice and helpful Highly recommend to anyone want to do the loop. Thank you Dinh and Opi tours

Amazing experience, must do! - This was an amazing experience. It was one of the best sceneries we have seen so far. The drivers/guides who accompanied our group were so nice, great fun and excellent hosts. It is a must if you are staying for long in Vietnam.

The best Ha Giang Tour - Truly incredible experience - we self drove for 3 days. Enjoyed staying in Dong Van & Du Gia - the accommodation was lovely, amazing views of the rice paddies from our home stay. The drivers & our leader Xin were so kind & caring. Incredible amazing a must do !! - This was hands down the most awesome experience I have ever done! Our guides were incredible!! The bikes were easy to drive and so much fun to see all the beautiful scenery around Vietnam! We stayed at one of our guides family’s homestay and it was such a wonderful experience. Amazing food, people karaoke and happy water!! The next night we stayed at a nice hotel and ate hot pot which was delicious. Our group was small and I could not recommend this company more!!!

Best Ha Giang Loop experience - Wonderful and accomodating drivers and the home stays are in such lovely quaint towns. Much smaller group sizes so you can actually get to know your group and don’t have the same party culture some of the hostels provide. Would 100% recommend.
