Ha Giang City - Quan Ba Heaven Gate - Dong Van Town (140km)

Quan Ba Heaven Gate - Situated at an impressive altitude of 1500 meters above sea level, this spot offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Ha Giang through the clouds. It proudly serves as the first official gateway to the global geological road of the rocky plateau. The lush green highlands of Ha Giang are beautifully showcased here, and the sky appears tantalizingly close, living up to its name.
From the mountain’s summit, visitors can gaze into the distance to admire the stunning scenery of the Dong Van rock plateau. In the foreground lies the expansive Quan Ba valley, exuding a serene beauty with its golden ripe rice, terraced fields, and the occasional smoke rising from the kitchens of ethnic minority homes.

Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - Located in the northernmost region of Vietnam, this geopark spans 2,345 square kilometers across the four northern districts of Ha Giang Province (Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van, and Meo Vac). Recognized as Vietnam’s first Global UNESCO Geopark since 2010, it is a site of significant geological interest.

Dong Van Town - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Du Gia Village (90km)

Ha Giang Journey - The Ma Pi Leng Pass, part of Ha Giang, Vietnam, connects the Dong Van plateau with Meo Vac towns and is near the Vietnam-China border. It is situated at an altitude of approximately 1500 meters above sea level.
Ma Pi Leng is renowned as one of Vietnam’s top four passes, known for its beauty and challenging terrain. Its name, derived from the H’mong language, translates to “the bridge of a horse’s nose,” describing its shape. Some liken it to The Great Wall of Vietnam. Although the pass is only about 20 kilometers long, it presents a challenge to any first-time driver.

Du Gia Village - Thuan Hoa Village - Ha Giang City (80km)

Du Gia - Du Gia is a municipality in Yen Minh District, Ha Giang Province, located roughly 70 kilometers from both Ha Giang and Meo Vac cities.
Visitors can stroll through the village, observing locals working in the rice fields, who greet them with smiles, and admire the traditional stilt houses. Every Saturday morning, this quaint town hosts a market where the region’s vibrant residents gather.
