Quan Ba Heaven Gate - At 7:30am, your adventure begins in one of Northern Vietnam’s most remote regions. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Ha Giang City to start the journey to Dong Van. Along the way, you’ll pass by Quan Ba and its famous Fairy Bosom Hills, visit a French bunker from the colonial era, and stop in Mau Due for lunch.

Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - If you’re in Dong Van on a Sunday morning, don’t miss the weekly market where local ethnic minorities gather. This is a unique opportunity to walk through the crowd, witness the trade of buffalos, cows, or chickens, and marvel at the colorful booths of traditional ethnic clothes. Back in the car, we’ll continue our journey through Ma Le, the ‘one-eyed ghost’ area. This road is a hidden gem that can take you to Vietnam’s northernmost point, Lung Cu, home to the Lo Lo ethnic minority, or to Vuong Palace, our next destination. Vuong Palace is a unique site, home to the H’mong King, with architecture influenced by Chinese, French, and Hmong cultures. It was also used as a secret opium storage during the French colonization.

Trekking in Ha Giang - Ha Giang City

Along the way, enjoy the stunning views and friendly locals before stopping for a picnic lunch in the remote village of Khuoi My. You’ll then continue, passing farmers working in their fields, until you reach Ban Tha village, where our driver will be waiting to take you back to Ha Giang City.
