-13:30 Continue towards Dong Van to visit: Tham Ma pass, Pho Cao village, Sung La valley, Lung Cam cultural village rich in H’Mong ethnic identity, “Pao’s house”, Tam Giac Mach field, and Moon rock field in Sa Phin village.
Quan Ba Heaven Gate - Quan Ba Heaven Gate is one of the five most renowned Heaven’s Gates in Vietnam, alongside Anh Giang Heaven Gate (Cao Bang), O Quy Ho Heaven Gate (Sapa), Linh Quy Phap An Heaven Gate (Da Lat), and Nghinh Phong Heaven Gate (Vung Tau). Situated at the entrance to the Dong Van karst plateau, Quan Ba is a must-visit when in Ha Giang.
The route to Quan Ba Heaven Gate (Ha Giang) is a stunning path for backpackers. It lies on National Road 4C, linking Ha Giang city and Tam Son town. To reach Quan Ba Heaven Gate, from Tam Son, travel 3km north or drive 46 km from Ha Giang city center, which takes about 1 hour.
Lung Cam Cultural - Tourism Village - Lung Cam Village, located in the heart of Sung La Valley, Sung La Commune, Dong Van District, is home to three ethnic groups: Mong, Lo Lo, and Han, with 85% being Mong people. Sung La Valley features a picturesque karst plateau with endless mountain ranges, fresh corn fields, colorful gardens, and ancient houses over a hundred years old.
H’mong houses in Lung Cam village share a similar appearance with rustic moss-covered walls surrounded by rock fences.
Lung Cam is also where the famous house of Pao from the award-winning movie ‘Story of Pao’ is located. The house is open for visits with an admission fee of 10,000VND per person.
The village is nestled in a very charming valley with 61 households, 53 of which are Hmong ethnic people. Visitors to Lung Cam village can enjoy the serene landscape and the peaceful lifestyle of the locals.
Christ The King Statue - -16:30: Visit the mansion of the Vuong family (King of the Hmong people): Here, you will truly appreciate the life and culture of the H’Mong people. In the late afternoon, under the day’s last sunlight, you will experience the architectural blend of three cultures: H’Mong, French, and Chinese.
-18:00: Check in at a hotel or homestay and rest
-19:30: Dinner, then free time to explore Dong Van old town and enjoy street food at the Dong Van old town night market.
DONG VAN TOWN – MA PI LENG PASS – NHO QUE RIVER – MAU DUE – DU GIA
Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - -8:30 am: After breakfast, visit the legendary Happiness Road, the majestic Ma Pi Leng Pass, and the beautiful Nho Que River.
Check in: The stop at the Ma Pi Leng monument, the treacherous road to Death’s snout and Dinosaur’s spine, walking on the sky path, you will see the entire scene at the foot of the pass. Panorama viewing point and a few beautiful check-in spots at the top of the pass.
Ma Pi Leng Pass - Visiting Ma Pi Leng Pass allows travelers to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the region while also experiencing the rich cultural heritage of the local ethnic communities. The journey along the pass is an adventure in itself, with numerous opportunities for hiking and motorbiking.
Nho Que River - - Take a boat on the Nho Que River to see the highest Tu San canyon in Southeast Asia, a natural masterpiece unique to Ha Giang.
The Nho Que River in Ha Giang is a must-visit for avid travelers seeking an unforgettable experience in the misty wonders of Northeast Vietnam. If you want to capture breathtaking photos during your trip to Ha Giang, make sure to stop at the Nho Que River.
Du Gia - -12:30: Have lunch at Meo Vac Town. Then continue the journey from Meo Vac town to Du Gia, a road with beautiful views and many winding paths through endless valleys. Along the way, visit: M pass shooting location, Mau Due, Lung Ho.
-17:00: Arrive at Du Gia commune center, check in at a local homestay in Du Gia village, enjoy dinner with Tay cuisine, and drink corn wine, which we fondly call “happy water”
DU GIA – DUONG THUONG Village LUNG TAM – QUAN BA – HA GIANG City
Thâm Luông Waterfall - -8:30 am: After breakfast, walk around the village, bathe in Du Gia waterfall, then depart back to Ha Giang city.
Lung Tam village - -On the way, stop to admire and visit some beautiful scenes: the valley Duong Thuong, Visit Lung Tam weaving village,
Have lunch at Tam Son town - Quan Ba
and return to Ha Giang city around 5:00 p.m, shower, rest at Hostel or homestay.
Lung Tam is known as a traditional craft village of brocade weaving by the Hmong on Dong Van plateau, Ha Giang province. Besides brocade products favored by both domestic and foreign visitors, the unique weaving process of Lung Tam village attracts visitors to Quan Ba district.
Visiting Lung Tam village, visitors can experience the daily life of the locals. Hmong women diligently work with looms to create beautiful brocade and linen pieces from flax fibers. Weaving a fine brocade piece is a source of pride for Hmong women.
