Ha Giang - 8.30 am: The tour begins at our homestay, or the Ha Giang Jeep team will pick you up at your hotel or any designated meeting point in Ha Giang city.
On the first day, you’ll notice a significant change in the scenery as our Open Air Jeep navigates the mountain roads. Our journey starts by driving up Pac Sum Pass. We’ll stop at Bac Sum Slope to take in the vast valley and stunning landscape views, then continue driving up to Heaven Gate, which is over 1300 meters above sea level.
Tam Son - From the Heaven Gate viewpoint, you’ll see Quan Ba town and the Twin Mountains. Our jeep driver will then take you to Nam Dam, a village where 100% of the residents are of the Dao ethnic minority. In Nam Dam, you’ll learn about the local culture and the architecture of their clay houses. We’ll spend about 2.5 hours in the village, walking around and enjoying some local food in Quan Ba.
After lunch, we’ll continue driving through the amazing valleys and villages. You’ll get a unique perspective of the spectacular mountains with our Authentic Ha Giang tour.
Yen Minh - We’ll head down to Lung Tam village, where you’ll visit a family that makes handicrafts and weaves clothes. Then, we’ll drive to Yen Minh, where we’ll stay overnight. On the way, we’ll take back roads that most tourists don’t know about, allowing us to see the most spectacular landscapes and some hidden villages. We’ll stop at the loop top road for a valley overview before arriving at Yen Minh Town to stay at a homestay.
Yen Minh - Tham Ma Slope – H’mong King Palace - Lung Cu Flag Pole - Dong Van town
Lung Cu Flag Tower - After breakfast, we’ll drive to Tham Ma Slope, a 9-step road where we’ll stop for photos. Then, we’ll continue to Sung La village, rich in history and stories. Next, we’ll visit the Lung Cu Flag Pole, marking the border between Vietnam and China, offering splendid views. We’ll also visit Lo Lo Chai village, home to the Lo Lo ethnic minority, and have lunch at a local restaurant.
Dong Van - After lunch, we’ll drive to Dong Van Town, stopping at the Vuong family’s residence, known as the “H’mong King Palace.” We’ll then head to our homestay in Dong Van Town for dinner.
Dong Van Town - Volunteer Youth monument - Ma Pi Leng Pass – See an overview of Nho Que River - Meo Vac – Du Gia village
Ma Pi Leng Pass - After breakfast, we’ll leave Dong Van Town and drive along the Happiness Road to Ma Pi Leng Pass, known for its craggy cliffs and breathtaking views. We’ll ride down the Sky Path to admire the valley and Nho Que River, then take photos from the pass’s peak.
After visiting Ma Pi Leng Pass, we’ll drive through Meo Vac town, stopping at the market if it’s open. We’ll continue through stunning valleys and villages, stopping at the M Road for its unique slope. We’ll then head to MAU DUE for lunch.
Du Gia - After lunch, we’ll continue to more remote villages, including Lung Ho, Mau Due, and Meo Vac, where we’ll have a pit stop. From Meo Vac Town, we’ll drive through the mountainous trails of Ha Giang province to Du Gia Village, home to seven ethnic minorities. We’ll stay overnight with a Tay Minority Family, enjoying dinner and
