Only the best - better than all the rest - Mid 50s - we took the jeep tour and were nervous. We needn’t have been. One of the best things I’ve done in my life. The magic to make a good holiday great and to make a great holiday the best were our driver and guide. Kyuet and Tong (Peter). Tong has a huge sense of fun and is, as one of the Hmong people hugely knowledgeable about the area and the people. We organised to be in Dong Van on Sunday for market. Thanks to Tong and Kyet this was one of the best things that we have ever done in our lives. Fantastic hike one day annd anling a vertiginous sky path which was fantastic. Also thanks to Mr Thai for great comms and organisation. As I say - Tong was the best. He is The best asset that this good and organised company can have. Make no mistake that the jeep trip is more expensive than a motorbike but the accommodation is better than others, the transport is better, their food is great and this is great value for what we got. If I could give this trip 7 stars I would. Sensational. Sensational. If I had one gripe is that I didn’t expect 3% surcharge for paying by card but that’s just a small rounding error and understandable I think. Info 1. The jeep is comfortable and the roof comes on and off so as the motorcyclists were soaked we were almost dry. Driven really sensibly and safely. Comfortable. No seatbelts or roll bar of course but so safely drive. Much more sociable than a motorbike ans you can chat and get info and better for photos and you’re higher up with no roof most of the time. 2. Home stays were lovely - they were hotels really . The second one with an infinity pool. Both Air conditioned, en suite European toilets. Comfortable. Nice. Clean. Lovely sociable and fun. 3. Food ordered for us was Vietnamese. They would’ve been happy to cater for needs ~ great and plentiful. Pancakes for breakfast if you don’t want noodles.

Thank you for such precious memories, Peter Tien, and all the friends who were with us. - I was worried because there weren't many reviews about the jeep tour, but there was no need to worry. Everything was perfect. I was also lucky to meet guide Peter and driver Tien. The two of them properly connected us as travelers with the lives of local people, and took care to make our trip as comfortable as possible. Thank you for their consideration, patience, and passion. The Army Jeep had an open roof and windshield, so you could enjoy it as an open car, and I didn't get motion sick even once and didn't take my eyes off the scenery for a moment. I felt happy throughout the trip. I hope Ha Giang remains a beautiful city where locals and travelers can live in harmony. I am grateful to all the local people who welcomed us so kindly.

Great jeep experience - We spent 3 days and 2 nights, in a jeep, in a small group, with 4 other people. Superb experience, we were able to discover this beautiful region and its inhabitants thanks to our driver (who drove very well) and our guide Vang. Thanks to them for their kindness. We recommend !!

Great trip, great guide, great homestays, great driver - What a wonderful trip! Nien was an excellent guide and took care of all our needs. One thing I liked was he found really great lookouts for us so we didn’t have to stop at the places where 1,000 motorcycles were lined up. He knew of all the places to stop where we had an unobstructed view and didn’t have to compete with all the other motorcycle tours. The homestays were all excellent and comfortable and had great food. And Tren was a terrific driver, did a wonderful job navigating the adventurous mountain roads. A good time and a good deal. Couldn’t be happier!

Trip of a Lifetime! - I had an amazing experience doing the 3 day open jeep loop. We were a small group of four which was so much more enjoyable but I was in the jeep solo. Words can’t describe the beauty of the Ha Giang region. Even though some smoke was around, it didn’t take away from the experience. The VIP sleeper bus was great and comfortable and the home stays were also very nice with good choices of amazing food. At night different groups come together and share stories over a drink. Such beautiful, happy local people in every village we passes. My guide Pete was awesome! He had great knowledge about the history and different places around the region. He is a very talented musician and would entertain the group at different stops along the way. But his energy, enthusiasm and desire to make my trip special was incredible. I am truly grateful. My driver Tien was careful and I felt safe at all times. He had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to sing and he rounded out the wonderful experience I had. Cheers! You are both amazing.

Fantastic Authentic jeep tour - 3 days 2 nights!! - Wonderful 2 night 3 day trip through the Ha Giang loop. We rode by open air jeep which was a fantastic way to see the beautiful mountains and villages of northern Vietnam. Our guide Javu(Za) was very knowledge ,enthusiastic and attentive to our every need. He is an excellent communicator in English and worked very hard to go above and beyond to ensure our comfort and that our group of 6 travellers had fun despite the challenging weather conditions. This happened to be a rainy few days. Our driver was also very safe and made our journey pleasant. We would highly recommend this jeep trip with the guidance and experience of our trip leader Za!!!!! Many thanks from your Canadian friends!

3 day Ha Giang Loop Easy Rider - Javu did a great job as our tour guide. He was fun and creative and did a great job teaching us about the local Hmong culture. He was also very conscious about ensuring we all enjoyed ourselves. Tony was my driver and he did an amazing job being conscientious about keeping me safe and comfortable and went above and beyond to ensure that I had good opportunity for photos.

Trip of a lifetime - Majestic trip, scenery was breathtaking even in the rain and fog the spectacle was awesome, Definately the trip of a lifetime and so glad we did it. Our guide, Nien, had excellent English and obviously loves his area, he was very knowledgeable and helpful and did his best to ensure we enjoyed the trip which we definately did. Nien also loves to sing and dance so he was entertaining company Son, our driver, was also excellent and knows the area very well. He was a very capable and safe driver and we felt we were in competent hands in challenging conditions. Son was also a wonderful singer and was happy to entertain us which added to the fun. Lucy, a new employee with the company, also accompanied us and she was delightful company and very mindful of us. The downsides the I would mention are 1. Breakfast is provided but if you want coffee you have to pay extra, seemed mean given the price of the trip. 2. The jeep was a totally clapped out vehicle, there is no sides to the jeep so we got very wet in the rain, one wiper stopped working, none of the dials worked etc. Definately wouldn’t pass an MOT anywhere. There are other jeeps that do this route so choose your vehicle. Overall I would highly recommend this trip to anyone, it’s the trip of a lifetime and an unforgettable experience
