Quiri Peninsula Bar & Restaurant and Hostel - 11:30 am: Enjoy a delightful lunch at Quiri Peninsula restaurant and bar with a variety of delicious dishes. Our tour guide and team will handle all the preparations. For those with large luggage, you can leave it at the office, as the bus will pick us up there at the end of the trip.
Dốc bắc sum viewpoint - 12:00pm: Begin the journey with a stunning view about 20km from the city. We’ll marvel at the natural beauty of the mountains and forests, the green bamboo trees blending with flowing streams, and the immense dams creating a majestic scene. We’ll ride uphill to Bac Sum Pass, which features 20 winding curves, often called the ‘snake road.’ From the top, you’ll enjoy a panoramic view of the landscape and valleys, where hidden villages of ethnic minority groups can be seen. Our tour will then continue to the Heaven Gate in Tam Son, located over 1200m above sea level. Here, you can witness a spectacular landscape with magnificent limestone mountains and vast deep valleys. Next, we’ll ride to a viewpoint to see the Twins Hill and visit a clay house village called Nam Dam.
Quan Ba Heaven Gate - 15:00pm: Our tour guide will take you to visit a local family who uses ‘hemp’ to weave fabric and create traditional clothes. You’ll experience their daily life and witness the traditional craftsmanship of the indigenous ethnic people, with enthusiastic guidance from our tour guide. We’ll then continue our motorcycle journey along the river towards Yen Minh, where we’ll spend the night. Along the way to Yen Minh, we’ll traverse many lesser-known country roads, allowing us to witness the most breathtaking landscapes and explore some hidden villages. We’ll also stop at the peak of the loop road to admire an overview of the valley.

YEN MINH - THAM MA ROAD - H’MONG KING PALACE - LUNG CU FLAG TOWER - THIEN HUONG ANCIENT VILLAGE - DONG VAN: 80KM
Dinh Vua Meo - 8:30am: Have breakfast at the homestay and prepare for a long day of driving. At 9:30am, from Dong Van, our riders will take about an hour to reach Tham Ma Road, one of the biggest challenges for the horses that used to live here. This road consists of 9 winding curves, which look very beautiful. Due to its steep incline, many horses in Ha Giang gave up, which is why it is called ‘Tham Ma’ in Sino-Vietnamese, meaning ‘testing horses.’
+10:30am: We will reach the palace of the king who once ruled the entire mountain region in the 18th century when this area was very wild. You’ll admire the wonderful architecture of the ancient Hmong people and learn more about Vietnamese history, culture, and the formation of the people in this area. This is an opportunity to gain more knowledge and deepen your understanding of this place.
Lung Cu Flag Tower - 13:00pm: Visit Lung Cu Flag Pole, where you can see the border area between Vietnam and China. The views from the flag pole or observation point are splendid and vast. If time permits, we’ll visit a village called Lo Lo Chai, where a small group of the Lo Lo ethnic minority lives in Vietnam. You’ll see their traditional houses built from clay, and we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant.
Dong Van - We will arrive in Dong Van in the late afternoon, just in time to enjoy a good dinner after a long day full of adventures.
DONG VAN - MA PI LENG PASS - MEO VAC TOWN - MAU DUE VALLEY - HA GIANG: 130km
Ma Pi Leng Pass - 9:00am: After a delicious breakfast, we’ll depart from Dong Van Town. Our motorbike rider will take you to witness the most beautiful section of the entire journey, located on the Happiness Road connecting Dong Van and Meo Vac. This section is known as Ma Pi Leng Pass, famous for its rugged cliffs and breathtaking views. It is considered the most challenging pass in the northern region and is often referred to as the “king” of passes in Vietnam. The road winds through the cliffs and reaches an altitude of 2,000 meters as it crosses Ma Pi Leng Pass.
Ha Giang Vision Tour - After an adventurous ride, we’ll return to Ha Giang in the afternoon, just in time for you to catch a bus or limousine back to Hanoi. You can choose to take a night bus or an afternoon limousine back to Hanoi, depending on your schedule and plans after our tour.
