Ha Giang - Pac Som Pass - Heaven Gate - Yen Minh - Tham Ma Slope - Hmong King Palace - Overnight in Dong Van

Ha Giang - The tour begins at 8:00 am at our office, or we can pick you up from your hotel or the bus station in Ha Giang City. Our tour guide and driver will brief you on safety measures for riding on a motorbike and provide details of the 2-day tour itinerary. On the first day, our Ha Giang Easy Riders Team will lead you through some of the most impressive and breathtaking landscapes.

As our team drives you into the mountains and along winding roads, you’ll ascend Pac Sung Pass, which is over 1000 meters above sea level. You’ll notice a cooler temperature and can stop to enjoy the panoramic view from Pac Sung Pass, where you can take pictures and have some coffee.

Quan Ba Heaven Gate - After enjoying the view from Pac Sung Pass, you’ll hop back on the motorbike. Our team will drive through limestone mountains and villages, offering beautiful scenery. You’ll arrive at Heaven Gate, where you’ll see a huge, deep valley with spectacular landscapes. After taking in the view, our riders will drive down to the valley to visit the secret village of Lung Tam, home to the Dao Minority people. Here, you’ll have the chance to visit a local family.

tt. Tam Sơn - We continue driving past Quang Ba to the town of Tam Son. Here, you’ll start to see the amazing rock limestone mountains that mark the beginning of the Karst Plateau Geopark. We’ll stop at a viewpoint for lunch, where you can see beautiful terraced rice paddies.

Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - After lunch, we’ll continue to Dong Van. The Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark is a major geoheritage site in Vietnam. You’ll see terraced rice fields, thousands of limestone rocks, and magnificent views, as well as hidden villages in the valleys. You’ll get a taste of rural north Vietnamese countryside life. Our riders will also take you to the Chinese border and the famous northernmost viewpoint in Vietnam. Before heading to Dong Van town, we’ll stop at the residence of the Vuong family, known as the “Hmong King Palace.” The trip will then continue to Dong Van town, where you’ll stay overnight at a hotel. After dinner, you can explore Dong Van ancient town’s nightlife.

Dong Van Town - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Meo Vac - M Road - Yen Minh - Quang Ba - Ha Giang

Ma Pi Leng Pass - After breakfast at your homestay or hotel, you’ll ride to see the most spectacular landscape of Ha Giang, including the Ma Pi Leng Pass, where you can see the Nho Que river below. This pass is well-known and considered the most beautiful part of the loop. After the pass, you’ll take another road back to Yen Minh, which offers equally beautiful landscapes as the first day.

Meo Vac - From Yen Minh, the route takes you back to Ha Giang City. During the tour, you’ll see different cultures and hill tribes, such as the H’mong tribe, living in the Ha Giang province. Their beautiful clothes are easily recognizable. You’ll be impressed by the stunning views, fascinating countryside, and beautiful cultures. The entire trip is an immensely rewarding experience that will give you lifelong memories.
