Once you’ve eaten, we will take you to the H’mong palace which once belonged to the “King of the H’mong” and was constructed by French and Chinese architects, leading to an interesting fusion of styles. The palace was once infamous for being used to store opium and weapons but was abandoned in the 1950s and the descendants of the family now live in France and Canada. After the palace we continue to Dong Van, arriving at 18:00, where you’ll have dinner and stay the night in a hotel.

Standing tall on the top of Dragon Mountain, the red flag flutters proudly in the wind. The two lakes below, located nearly symmetrically, are compared to “dragon eyes” by the people here, creating a unique painting. On one side is Lo Lo Chai village, and on the other side is Then Pa village as if appearing from a fairy tale.
We return to Dong Van town for lunch.
After lunch, we go to Ma Pi Leng stop before the journey to conquer one of the “Four Great Peaks” on the famous Happiness Road.
