Dinh Vua Meo - Its the H’mong King’s palace in Dong Van, the residence of Vuong Chinh Duc – a mandarin under Nguyen Dynasty. The wooden parts were intricately carved to reflect his wealth and prosperity. Ma Pi Leng Pass - Ma Pi Leng meaning “bridge of a horse’s nose”. The word is from H’mong language. It is approximately 20 kilometers (12 mi) long, on the section of the Highway 4C connecting the towns of Dong Van and Meo Vac. It is at the altitude of 1,500 m (4,921 ft). The road was first built by Yao, H’mong, Tay and Lolo minority people.
This pass is known as the King of Passes in Vietnam and the most spectacular mountain road in all of Vietnam. Stop at the pit stop to admire the scenery and take photos. Climb up to the top of a rocky mountain to see the best views on the path. You will also trek Ma Pi Leng Sky Path for 7km. When you do this trail it will be better view and you will get multiple perspectives on the amazing views (Tu San Canyon view).
