Please go on this cruise. - To start with the food surpassed itself. We'll done to the chef. Our Executive room with bath tub was lovely. The service is beyond good and the excursions a treat with the lovely Tom as our guide. 2 nights is the way to go 1 night now enough. Enjoyed it immensely despite the cold rainy weather.

A beautiful way to see Ha Long Bay. - We booked a 1 night tour aboard The Theatre Cruise. It was a close to flawless experience. We were told the itinerary on arrival and we had lunch first up. Then we go to paddle around the bay followed. Then we had drinks and a cookery demo on the top deck followed by a great dinner. The beds were very comfortable and the private balcony space we had was great to have to watch Ha Long bay float by. Visiting the water caves in the morning was a major highlight, and seeing tree monkeys was the icing on the cake. Overall this was a great experience. Tom the cruise manager was very informative and checked on us several times. Jack our butler was the same. This was a great experience.

Great view, exciting program and friendly, helpful staff - During our tour of Vietnam we stayed in 7 different hotels and we really liked Le Theatre Cruise. The program on offer (cooking demonstration, kayaking, boat tour) is particularly recommended. You experience a lot in a short time and the view is beautiful. The cabin was clean and as shown in the photos and the menu is adapted to special requests (in our case no seafood). The incredibly friendly and helpful staff deserve special mention (especially Linh from support stuff, Anna and Tom from the on-board team) who even brought me my forgotten jacket to the next hotel. Thank you for the wonderful time we had on board.

Highly recommend - I stayed in the panorama suite which was very spacious and had amazing views of Ha long bay. Boat was not overcrowded with guests and had amazing decor. Thanks to Tom who I believe is the manager and the very friendly staff on board for the unforgettable experience

Nice Experience but it could have been better 🙂 - We have done a 2 Day 1 Night 24 Hours cruise...We have visited many tour operators before finally deciding on checking with the company itself...luckily I got a WhatsApp link from their website and enquired about the rates...they offered me a rate of 350$ per couple including pick up and drop..this was way cheaper for a five star cruise..pick up time from hotel was 8AM..They transferred us through an 11 seater limousine...taking short refreshment breaks in the middle...reached the harbour at 11:15 AM... Departure time was 12 PM...it took 15 mins for a small boat ride to the main Cruise...Our guide Tom knew proper English and our dedicated waiter Vodka was very helpful... Vegetarian options are very less in the cruise but otherwise everything was perfect in food Menu..Rooms and specially the washroom was beautiful...we did canoeing in the afternoon around 4 PM...which was good but in open ocean and not under the caves..they had a cold cooking class session in the evening and a Tai chi session in the morning...dinner was served at 7 PM which was a bit dampening...we expected a party....we could hear loud music from RITA cruise which was in our vicinity...In the morning they took us for a Cave excursion which was spoiled due to low tide...after brunch, we went past the skull island where the king Kong skull island movie was shot..and left for harbour... Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because I think if given a chance again, I will go for a cruise with more excursions and activities than this one...

Amazing staff! - Disembarked yesterday after spending one night on board. Tom was our host and was fabulous along with the rest of the staff. Lots organised to keep us busy like fishing, kayaking, a cookery class and also a boat trip to see some caves. We were upgraded for my husbands birthday celebrations and our room was stunning. They also left a birthday cake for him in our room. If you like seafood then this is the trip for you as there was lots and lots. So much food…..maybe actually a bit too much! The boat is beautiful although could do with a fresh coat of paint in places. 2 nights would probably be better as with just the one night it did feel a little like a production line! Highly recommend if I’m the area.

Wouldn't call it a cruise but staff were FANTASTIC - Had booked a 2 night cruise with my wife and 15 and 12 year old daughters. From the moment we got on the boat the staff couldn't be more helpful and that didn't change for the entire trip. We had booked connecting rooms and the rooms were a good size for a cruise however we had some extremely noisy neighbours and were placed next to the stair well. To the cruise company's credit they changed our rooms for the second night which was great. It's probably fair to say over the 2 days the boat would have been lucky to move 5 klms and was pretty much anchored most of the time. While the effort from the staff for the food was great the variety was limited and pretty much the same both nights and breakfast was very limited. A big area for Improvement. Of the 40 odd guests there on the cruise we were the only group to do 2 nights. The second day was a day trip to a village, kayaking and swimming. The day was a bit to long and to much commuting. Overall an ok experience

Slightly disappointed - The starting off meeting point room was quite basic and didn't give a great 1st impression. We booked the suite and it was spacious and very comfortable. The large balcony allowed for great sight-seeing. The bed was fabulous. We celebrated an anniversary and the staff really went overboard (pardon the pun) to make it special . Our bed was decorated with flowers, there was a very delicious cake and they set up a private dining table on the top deck for us. I would strongly advise you to do the two night cruise. The "one night" guests commented on how rushed they felt and that they had missed out on activities experienced on the 2-night option. Tom was great and manages the "big boat" very well. Lucky looked after us at meal times and did a superb job. He made it his top priority to ensure we had everything we needed. I agree with other reviews in that some maintenance is required. The carpet tiles are lifting all along the corridor (serious trip hazard) and the stair carpets could do with replacing. The tours were great. Peter was excellent and we had a terrific day out with him visiting the islands. He is very passionate about his country and this was great to witness. We opted for the bike ride and despite not haven been on a bike for over 30 years, we managed the experience without falling off! The food provided in the restaurant on the island tour was not great at all and all 7 in our group left most of it. It was cold and with all the flies we had concerns about upset tummies. I must point out our tummies were fine! The "light breakfast" on the boat was a disappointment and not great value considering what we paid for the two nights. Compared to the evening meals, very little thought and effort was put into this service, We have very mixed feelings about the food on the boat. When we arrived, we had lunch straight away. It was very seafood orientated so if you are not keen, make sure you let them know when you book. We felt overwhelmed by the volume of food provided. Platter after platter kept arriving at very frequent intervals so by the time we got to the final dish, it was cold. We felt very rushed, not really given enough time to savour each course. Each course was seafood. The following night, guessing we were in for the same meal experience, we asked for fewer courses to be served and to be fair they took this on board. The food was cooked and presented very well but a little thought with regards to volume and pacing of the courses is required. Most guests we spoke to had the same feelings on this. On our last day, after the fantastic cave visit we had a buffet lunch. This was by far the best meal we had. We could choose what we wanted as well as how much to put on our plate. There was a strange arrangement at Happy Hour - buy 2 drinks, get one free. Most parties were couples so this was not an ideal option. One thing that did surprise me was how little the boat moved. To call it a cruise is a bit of a stretch. I understand its a UNESCO site and there are strict rules as to what and where the boats can do/go but really, it barely moved position until the last day when we were returning back to base. We had expected the boat to sail around the islands but this is not the case and so any sightseeing was largely from the tender. I feel as though I have criticised a lot. We did enjoy our experience but let down by the food and also felt it was a little over-priced. I'm not sure I would describe it as 5 star in all honesty.

“Le theater Cruise“ Gave me a bad experience - I have been on many cruise ship around the world, this cruise “Le theater Cruise“ . The room is small, they provided the worst buffet food I ever had. I can see only few basic food: fried rice, potatoes…chicken. The food does not taste good and it ruin my vacation. The travel agency advertising about the swimming pool on the boat, turn out it is just shadow 1 foot deep. I paid $320 usd (7.2 million ) for 1 night/2 persons. It is a riff off. Don’t come here. It is not worthy. Bạn không nên tham dự chuyến tàu này. Tàu cho đồ ăn rẻ tiền và không ngon. Tôi đã bị lừa, hy vọng các bạn không bị lừa như tôi. Tôi đã trả 320usd (7.2 triệu) cho 2 người/1 đêm.
