Awesome three night cruise - We had such a great time! Definitely recommend the two night, the second day was by far our favorite. LAN Ha bay is much quieter with less tourists. So much fun kayaking and exploring the caves. The boat was very nice, nice room and the bathtub was unbelievable.

Ivy was my go to person - Ivy helped make everything easier during my travels through Vietnam. She always responded promptly and had good suggestions for things to do. I set up my 5 star cruise through Halong Bay via Ivy and Trip Advisor. I highly recommend 2 nights when cruising Halong Bay and going to the fishing village. It's been a trip of a lifetime. I am still traveling, so I'm sure I will be asking for assistance a time or 2 more before I leave.

3 day tour through Ha Long/Lan Ha Bay - The views throughout the tour were amazing and locations did not feel overcrowded. The crew were very friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. They offered interactive cooking classes and massages on the cruise between activities.

Excellent trip with lovely crew - The boat was very well looked after and clean, my room was lovely, I could’ve stayed in it all day but I would’ve missed on many great activities. Some of the sites are a bit busy but on the second in particular we were in some very peaceful beautiful areas and away from crowds. The crew were all very welcoming and excellent. In particular the tour guide V was fantastic. Ivy was also very communicative and helpful with the organisation before the trip and getting back to Hanoi after.

Nice cruise. The food quality was varied and especially one lunch at one of the day cruises was particularly bad. - I received AMAZING help from Ivy when booking the cruise, she was simply outstanding - kind and service-minded and it was a real delight interacting with her! The cruise was nice overall but in terms of service, nothing trumps the interactions with Ivy at the booking stage!

Keep an eye on when booking! - The crew and ship were really great! The ship looks like the pictures and is really beautiful. Drinks: The drinks on the ship are extremely expensive, even in Germany the drinks don't cost as much in a restaurant, which is why I didn't want to afford much. A glass of wine costs more than 8€. The happy hour works like this: You buy 2 and get 1 for free, that gives you 3? We then decided on beer and then learned that beer is not included at happy hour. On the day of departure (11 am) there was a happy hour again and suddenly there was “buy 1 get 2), so you can see that this complete concept is designed only for the biggest profit, because in the morning at 11 am probably the least 3 cocktails would like to be in front of you. For paying 350€ for 2.5 days, I find that more than inappropriate! Then charge 20€ more and change the concept. Activities: The destinations were extremely touristy and all the other ships arrived at the same time, so you had to expect a lot of people. You had just enough time to look around and then we went on. The actual ship has only once sailed a bit into the sea and stopped there for the 2.5 days. This has nothing in common with a cruise. You sleep on the ship, that’s it. Which I think is a shame, because I would have enjoyed it if you could switch off in your cabin between the crowded activities. In the evening you were surrounded by other ships. In addition, our “agenda” was simply changed. We visited other caves than agreed in advance and I had booked this ship for that very reason. For me, an absolute nogo. Cooking-Class: I don't have to say much about it.. it was shown 1x how to roll a spring roll. I have already attended a cooking class in Hoi An before, there we really learned that and the different types. Here, not even the difference was explained or anything folded. IT WAS JUST RICE PAPER ROLLED. I don't understand what kind of cooking class this is supposed to be. I expected real cooking! WASTE OF MONEY Transport: We were picked up in Hanoi and brought to the ship, on the way we stopped at a pearl sales point and you had to go through and was encouraged to buy there. On the way back the same game, although we were 15min away from the finish. Conclusion: As others have already written, the concept is designed for the greatest profit. If you book two nights on the second day just new/stranger people come on the ship while you are not there. Then we deducted the same again (cooking class and karaoke) The activity is crowded and therefore slightly less beautiful. The ship stays in one place all the time and you go to the destinations with a strange ship and 30 other strange people, then you could have booked something really cheaper. The cooking class is a joke. Everything I chose this ship for was a disappointment. Pros: For birthday kids there was a cake and a song. The food was okay, too. Halong Bay is really beautiful! If you find a way, start from Cat Ba or take a day trip, that's enough. With 350€ or 700€ you could rather spend 1-2 weeks longer in the beautiful country and then do without Halong Bay if necessary. If I could, I wouldn't book it again.
