Enjoy a welcome drink and cruise briefing. Have lunch while cruising through Da Chong Islet, Con Vit Islet, and Gia Luan. The cruise sails through Lan Ha Bay, entering through the Cua Van Area, surrounded by extraordinary limestone karst landscapes.
Kayaking and/or swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Bay, with two options depending on the tide:
Option 1: Visit Ba Trai Dao Beach for about an hour of kayaking in the Tra Bau Area of Lan Ha Bay, a quiet tourist paradise.
Option 2: Visit Dark Cave & Bright Cave by bamboo boat or kayak for about an hour.
Enjoy a complimentary sunset party on the sundeck with local wine and fresh fruits. Dinner is served on board. Spend leisure time chatting at the bar/sundeck, squid fishing, relaxing, and overnight on the cruise.
Hang Luon Cave - Many tourists believe that Luon Cave is like a gateway to a wonderland with water and limestone mountains in Halong Bay. Passing through Luon Cave, all the tiredness and exhaustion of tourists are left behind, allowing them to connect with nature.
Luon Cave resembles a tunnel, 100 meters in length, 4 meters in width, and 3 meters in height. Compared to other caves in Halong Bay, Luon Cave is not large, but it is unique and holds mysterious wonders. Located at the base of an imposing mountain, tourists must travel by boat under the mountain to reach the other side of the island, hence the name “Luon Cave.”
Luon Cave is an arch-shaped entrance leading to a tranquil lake, approximately 1 square kilometer in size. Surrounded by high mountains, this lake is shielded from ocean waves and winds, with a relatively calm water surface.
Dark & Light Cave - Situated at the edge of Halong Bay, Dark & Light Cave is located in Lan Ha Bay. Lan Ha Bay is a few kilometers from the more frequently visited caves and closer to Cat Ba National Park, so it may take an hour or two to reach from other caves. Upon arrival, a stunning combination of white limestone karsts, emerald green waters, and the dark mystery of the caves creates a captivating atmosphere, making this trip worthwhile.
The cave is named Dark & Light Cave because it consists of two separate caves. Dark Cave is 100 meters long with minimal natural or artificial light, requiring a flashlight inside! Light Cave, on the other hand, is considerably shorter and filled with natural light streaming through gaps and holes in the rock, making it feel like a church carved by Mother Nature. Light Cave is always accessible, whereas Dark Cave is sometimes submerged by the tide.
Ha Long Bay or Lan Ha Bay - Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)
Halong Bay - 06:15: Tai Chi class on the Sun-Deck.
07:10: Enjoy a light breakfast with coffee, tea, and pastries on board.
07:45: Arrive at the Surprising Cave, the largest cave in Ha Long Bay, covering 10,000 square meters. The cave resembles a Vietnamese house with three chambers: a lobby, dining room, and bedroom, adorned with beautiful stalagmites and stalactites. The cave tour lasts about 60 minutes.
09:00: Upon returning to the boat, guests have time to freshen up and finish packing. When checking out, please remove all belongings from the cabins, leaving heavy luggage outside.
09:40: Brunch is served.
After brunch, relax on the sundeck or in the dining room, enjoying the bay scenery as the boat approaches the pier.
10:45: Disembark at Halong International Harbour.
Lan Ha Bay - 07:30: Have breakfast and enjoy the sunrise on the bay.
Option 1: Visit Dark & Bright Cave and islets (1 hour) by local rowing boats, showcasing a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage site.
Option 2: Kayak and swim at Ao Each area for about an hour to discover more beautiful views. Then return to the cruise to pack luggage, check out the cabin, and join a cooking class demonstration. Enjoy lunch while cruising back through Tuan Chau Port. Return to Hanoi, arriving around 2:30-3:00 PM. End of the trip.
Sung Sot Cave - Located on Bo Hon Island, along with another popular Halong cave, Trinh Nu. From the dock below, visitors must climb 50 stairs to the grotto’s entrance, which is just 25 meters above the sea. Sung Sot Cave is divided into two chambers; the first chamber, known as the “Waiting Room,” is vast, adorned with stalagmites and stalactites, and lit by multicolored lights positioned to enhance the chamber’s structural beauty.
To reach the second chamber, visitors must walk down a narrow passageway. The second chamber, known as the “Serene Castle,” is large and grand with an extremely high ceiling and features many interesting rock formations, which locals liken to animals due to their shapes.
Lan Ha Bay - Lan Ha Bay consists of around 300 karst islands and limestone sea rocks and is located southeast of Cat Ba Island. As a geological extension of Halong Bay, Lan Ha Bay is equally beautiful, though less visited and less inhabited, offering the added appeal of a more peaceful environment.
